My experience with them is not good. They were helpful at just the beginning, but I am still waiting to hear a call back since last December 2023. No one calls you back, gives answers, or answers to emails. When you do get a call back, apparently the questions you do have cannot be answered by them because supposedly they do not deal with those inquiries. They did a great job at installing the solar panels, but when you have questions, no one will return your calls. I have left emails and voicemails regarding my concerns and no one has returned my calls or responded to my emails. In December it will be a year and I am still waiting.

Great experience, the process from start to finish was quite seamless. River Brown came to the house and explained their process, no pressure, low key, just giving you the facts. Maya Cvijic did a great job with the communication piece, updating us on every step of the process.

The installers came and installed everything within a day. I live in a new community where the homes are "solar ready". They found the junction box in the attic that allows cable to be run to the breaker box without having to run conduit on the side of the house. I bring this point up because I see some of my neighbors installs and the company that they went with ran conduit outside, which I think is unsightly. The panel install is nice and clean. The attention to detail was top notch.

It has been a month and a half since the panels were installed and the first full month with solar, I had a surplus of 135 kWh. The system is preforming above expectations. They even gave me a Veteran discount!

I highly recommend.

Very happy with our decision to install Solar with Milholland. They are very knowledgeable, reliable and always available to answer our questions. Installation took a little longer than expected due to rain and high volume at the end of the year but we are very satisfied with the finished product. We would recommend this company to friends and family.

One star, only because a zero is not an option. Installation and completion of new solar panels was problematic due to not utilizing mounting hardware per approved plans. All this was after a complete reroof. Z brackets were utilized instead of what was on the plans. Concrete roof tiles were not notched to accommodate together Z-brackets leaving the tiles sitting high in many places. After many complaints they finally notched the tiles. Slightly over a year later now my roof leaks under the solar panels. Many attempts to reach Milholland are in vain as they flat out do not respond. SIRC their parent company did respond only once and sent out a roofer who found cracked roof tiles at the Z-brackets and just smeared mastic over the the cracked tile. he told me to contact the solar company to come properly fix it. Impossible since they are non-responsive. Stay as far away as possible from Milholland unless you want poor quality and poor service!!

So many reasons why I WOULD NOT recommend this solar company to others. At first it seemed to be rainbows, sunshine and perfect promises. Then it turned out too good to be true. They are impossible to contact and take weeks to get ahold of when we found a leak due to the rain season. They show up to your house unannounced on their own time and do not care whether it is a good time or not to fix what needs to get fixed. They promised us no money to get it installed and since we are selling our home - now are trying to charge both our home buyer and us 10K to transfer the lease with them. Oh, this is also after nearly two weeks of trying to get a hold of them in the first place of transferring to new buyers. We never got the 10k rebate that was promised either. Milholland is not a trustworthy company if you are looking for someone to be customer service based or careful with your home. They are a cancer to actual reputable Solar companies and deserve to be burned to the ground. I will never trust, like, or want to use another Solar company again because of how useless and negatively they have impacted my home with their negligence. Rating: 0.5/5 stars ✨
