Derek, and his assistant Megan, were terrific to work with. They were very responsive and answered all my questions thoroughly and quickly. They kept me updated with the project status frequently and even contacted me several times after the project just to check-in and answer any questions.

I first contracted with Sunrun to design, install and lease a solar array in 2013. The process was very straightforward and our solar panels were up and running in a few short months. The system was designed well and we owed $0 at each true up for a number of years. Once our adult son moved back home 10 years later, I worked with Derek and Megan to expand the array. I was very satisfied with the excellent customer service they and other Sunrun colleagues demonstrated in designing and installing more panels. We are back to owing $0 at true up! I was also very impressed with Sunrun when I planned to replace my roof. They were on time and very efficient in removing all the panels and hardware and safely storing them onsite. Once the new roof was on, Sunrun was equally responsive in coming out to re-install all the hardware and panels and I was up and running shortly after.

So far so good. A great company to work with if you are in the market for solar power. The staff were excellent, straightforward and knowledgeable. Everything from the initial contact to installation was very good. My sales consultant, Robert Martinez, was excellent from start to finish. The installation team were great. Very high quality work fast, efficient and clean. Waiting on final inspection and turning on the solar system.

The service is great. In the summer of 2022 my electric bill jumped from $150's to almost $500 with Ameren. I immediately started looking into solar. After originally talking with a different company, what they offered was no where even close to matching the power I was using. So Sunrun looked at that plan and came back with a much better plan. My Next Ameren bill is $10 per the notification. I am making so much power even running my AC at 68° that my gas portion of my bill has also disappeared!

Our Sunrun experience has been excellent - Our representative, Chrys is very knowledgeable, answered all questions and she returned our calls promptly. We were kept up to date on permit progress and inspections. The solar installation crew were great as well. They arrived right on time and were experienced, finished at the designated time and pleasant to work with. One small problem was taken care of promptly. We have recommended Sunrun to our friends and neighbors.

My panels are producing what they said they would produce. My electric bill is now about $12 a month! Sunrun delivered on it's promise and a year in, everything is working like it should.

Do NOT use SunRun! Their sales representative flat out lied about the terms of the contract, what he sold us was not what we got. In addition, I had to have some panels removed to have work done on the roof. The sales rep told me this would be no problem, but I have been waiting for 2 months to get someone to come reinstall them, and I still don’t have an appointment. I have spent countless hours waiting for someone to answer the phone, and if someone ever does, they can’t help because they don’t cover my region. I’ve emailed the customer service address and received a response that the email account is no longer monitored. I have called and emailed my alleged representative and the phone number is disconnected. Meanwhile, they are still charging me for a service I am not getting! There are so many solar companies out there, and I deeply regret choosing this one.

Update: it has now been 4 months, and my panels are still sitting in my backyard, and I have no idea if or when Sunrun will ever reinstall them. I have called and emailed every possible contact I can find. This is a nightmare.
