This place was a great place to stop and get a bite but we got our order to go to enjoy when we got to our hotel but for me the portions were small for the prices but well worth the flavors tiny place with bar style sitting as well as tables and chairs also a adorable option to wear u can sit Chinese style on the floor with a table absolutely gorgeous place.

THE FOOD IS GREAT! THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON THEIR PRICES. I only eat vegetarian rolls and being born and raised in HMB I use to go here a lot. It's by far the best variety of vegetarian rolls I've ever seen. But in the last 5 years the price for my vegetarian rolls has more then doubled. Sorry but I'm not paying $9-10 dollars for 5 pieces of rice and mushrooms... it use to be $4.25 or $4.75. The place used to be packed all the time. Now it's like a dead zone. With shiki around the block offering bigger portions for the same or less money... I've always been anti shiki but I can't afford to eat at main street anymore. It's $70 before tip for my 8 year old son and I to eat dinner there, without drinks.

We have enjoyed Sushi on Main Street for over 25 years, but this was our first visit in three years.

We had the prime rib and gyoza appetizers. I ordered the black cod entree dinner.

The food was flavorful and the cod was cooked perfectly.

Know that the entree portions, like most restaurants post-pandemic, are smaller than before, so fill up on appetizers or sushi.

This is a well-established, great restaurant for Japanese sushi style food. The service was good, the food excellent and the location very convenient. Since it's not on the main street parking is easy.

Incredible!!! The sushi is soooo fresh and the service is amazing. We stumbled on this restaurant and WHAT A FIND!!! We had Mochi for dessert. It was also wonderful. Seriously… if you like sushi, what are you waiting for? Done here today. Also, I need to give a shout out to Ana and Chris who worked tirelessly to make our evening perfect.

Service was nice. But the food wasn't that great. Some could have been fresher. Others were bad. Most was alright. I'd a 6 out of 10. Sadly the high price means they get a review.

An excellent place to have sushi in the Half Moon Bay area. It is just a few feet off the main street. There are seats at the counter, tables along the wall and a few larger tables by the front door. The restaurant serves good food so it can get a little crowded and I would suggest going early. The waiter was very friendly but looked like he was having a difficult time keeping up with all the tables. Our service was very good and the food was delicious. I would recommend this place for anyone that likes sushi in the area.
