Ok so I waited to post this review.
I figured the customer service I got on my first purchase was a fluke. No way could someone be that thorough and thoughtful. Well after several transactions I can safely say ive never seen customer service like I have here. And I worked retail for a decade.
You might pay a few bucks more for an item, but they will stick with you and figure everything out after the sale. Totally worth it in my opinion. I haven't even mentioned the page long technical responses to questions about solar I had. All put into words I could understand. I'm impressed.

This place is incredible!! Both owners are wonderful, hardworking folks. The staff are friendly and helpful. Pickles is a great greeter. I worked with Jordan and Ramsy on a solar system. They provided me the most incredible service and bent over absolutely backwards to make sure I got out the door with what I needed at a beyond fair price. I can’t say enough good things about this group of people. I’ll be back, no doubt!

Incredible service and expertise. I had found myself in a jam the day before a critical event. My off grid power source was highly inadequate and not performing to specifications. This setup was purchased from a different establishment, but luckily I walked in the door of Susitna, and the owner , Jordan, helped me debug the issue, find the right parts that I needed, fixed the whole setup and stayed well beyond closing time on a long weekend, all for a very small amount of money.

Owner operated, this place exemplifies the Alaskan ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit. While there, I looked at all the options they have, basically a one stop shop to setup your off grid home - propane / dc fridges , cook tops , heater , solar and battery, even composting toilets. I would highly recommend you go in and have a chat with them before making any decisions on you off grid setup.

Just called and talked to Ramsey about purchasing some batteries. She was so incredibly knowledgeable. She knew way more about the batteries they sell than all the other companies I've contacted today. Additionally, she had exemplary customer service.

Ramsey is the type of person that develops relationships w/ her customers and spends time getting to know them and their needs which allows her to provide the best solution possible.

Even though I'm making a relatively small purchase, she treated me like a King!

Keep people like Ramsey on your payroll and you will glean the benefits! Ramsey could probably use a raise! Bet you would hate to lose her!

Getting accurate information for DIY off-grid solar installation is usually an exercise in frustration. Susitna Solar's people not only sold me exactly what I needed, but provided detailed instructions on installation and put together the components so that it was little more than a plug-and-play project. Great people to work with.
