I've been here a few times since around 2018: The Saturday morning free electronics drop off is nice. These days, you can't legally just toss a CRT style TV or Computer in the trash. A lot of places charge a fee. But if you live in Cook County (and they didn't even check my ID) you can drop your electronics off on Saturday morning for free. In the past, I did drop off an old dishwasher (can't remember if I had to pay a fee) and one dead 60" Flatscreen, and on Nov 16, 2024 a very old Apple IIGS

Very easy to find, and to navigate on premise. You drive into a large warehouse and very nice staff workers help you unload your drop offs. Easy. Quick. No hassle. In and out in a few minutes.

The service provided by the office is very bad, there is only one person working in the office and this person works very slowly normally, you are going to get 2030 trucks in a waiting queue, the staff that attends is very very slow they need to hire more employees to office work

As far as I can tell this is the only place in the northwest suburbs to take residential garbage. It's priced by weight, super reasonable prices. I paid $20 for like 180 lbs.

The staff was patient with me explaining what I needed to do, including pulling up a video camera of where I should park so I could see where I was going.

Things to know:
- it's a big operation! Show up ready to ask someone nicely to tell you what to do. You loop through the building twice and you'll be dodging the normal commercial trucks and workers the whole time.
- it's inside and it's trash so it smells super gross. Great opportunity to use one of those masks we all bought, I barely noticed through my N95
- sounds like it gets pretty busy by midday so maybe get there early
- they require a vest when you're out of your car, but will sell you one for $10
- card only (I think that's a bonus)
-weigh in, weigh out pricing.

If you're minimizing COVID exposure, you do pay indoors in an office. It's pretty empty and there's dividers but I'd bring your mask (you need it for the smell anyway)

Place is absolute trash, no pun intended. This is the second Monday in a row that they don't accept contractor dumping for some reason. They have it posted that there is contractor dumping between 2 and 4pm. Update your website or something so that I don't drive 35 miles just to get denied dumping. The place is also abysmal for offloading due to all the nails and scraps that do not get cleaned off.

I have gone through probably 10-15 tires in the last year and a half dumping here.

The prices used to be the most affordable here for contractor dumping but currently they charge 85.00 for a ton which is on par or more than most places even in Chicago.

Aside from the two guys who work in the office, one with a beard and the other who works in the right side office, the ticket collector who processes payments absolutely dislikes everybody who comes in there and absolutely makes everything more complicated than it has to be.

Used to be a better place to dump I would save your money and go dump literally anywhere else.

Bunch of incompetent people. Always the same issue. Been dumping for years paying in cash exact amount and always demand a credit card. Credit is for the poor minded. I pay everything in cash. 4 years I've been dumping here and never once have I presented a credit card. U.S. currency is legal tender. Now they say they have never taken cash. I have all my receipts from here made with cash payment in the description. Can't trust a company that is not honest and does not value U.S. currency. This is a company of liars.

Well I'm sure you spent all afternoon loading up that truck It's a good thing you had help Because that was a lot of stuff Unfortunately they won't be able to help you unload Sorry helpers must stay in the vehicle Oh and I know you don't work here but you're going to be required to purchase a vest that will have to be worn at all times While in the bay So after the run around I guess I'm happy to unload By myself Taking twice as long and slowing down the process Which used to move fairly well

Whether it's a trailer load, pickup load, or any type of load (trash, construction, electronics, yard waste) you can take it and dump here. Quick and easy! The people are great and helpful! The facility is organized and the process flow is easy!
