We could not be happier with the experience & outcome of our lanai remodel by Swift Construction. I wouldn’t consider anyone else for our next construction/ remodel project. William and his team installed new floors throughout our home as well as completely gut and remodel our kitchen. He was able to get us on the books quickly and was done with the job in 2 weeks, as promised. There were no surprises with William. He keeps you informed about every step and/or change to any plans. He and his team were very polite and professional throughout the entire process. I love my new kitchen and floors and would definitely recommend his company to any family and friends.

So I had a gentleman come out today. I had an appointment at 4:30. I believe it was with your company to give me a quote on a post and beam carport. I'm just trying to explain to him that I didn't want trusses. I didn't want rafters that weren't timber framed. I was explaining to him that I wanted 4 x 6 or whatever size it would take for engineering for down here for the rafters the headers on the side and a ridge beam to match. He was trying to tell me it couldn't be done because you had to do the tie downs for hurricanes. I tried to explain to him I built a similar building in the northern part of this country where we have large snow loads not the wind, but we do have tornadoes so there are codes for that. What we used was hammered black brackets so they looked antique and they are engineered. Anyway, the whole thing escalated and it wasn't a good experience yes it takes two to tango.. But he told me that I was incompetent. That's when it escalated a little bit more as far as the conversation went. I asked him to leave my property and he said or else. I said what do you mean or else. I guess I can call 911 and have them escort you off the property Then I started questioning about the or else what. He said let's go in the middle of the street and talk about it. My dad had a saying he owned two businesses and I owned one business.The saying was customers always right so deal with it Thats what he would tell me. I think you can learn from an eight-year-old and an eighty -year-old and if you think you can't, you're an idiot. But evidently this young guy thinks he knows everything. If he would've just listen and let me explain the size what I wanted to use for materials, But he was trying to tell me that he would have to use LDL and framing lumber for the trusses and headers. when I called I specifically asked if the company did post and beam or would be interesting in doing it. There are post and beam homes built all over this country. I have a log home like I said all of the brackets painted black they're 10 times stronger than any hurricane bracket would ever be. They are heavier than the hurricane brackets they are lite gauge they use 16 or 18. So I told him I was pretty sure his engineer could figure that out. It's funny I mentioned the northern state which happened to be the socialist communist state of Minnesota and I'm happy I'm not there anymore. His response is why don't you go back to Minnesota. Why do you think the boom is going on down here from people moving here to get out of the socialist communist States like New York, Minnesota, and all of the rest of the nutcase states. He must be forgetting one of the reasons that he is so busy. anyway, it's sad that it escalated to the way it did, but I don't really appreciate somebody coming on my property and threatening me if he didn't wanna do it or didn't like how it was going the discussion he simply should've said I'm sorry, sir I'm not interested in giving you a bit or whatever the case may be gotten his car and left, like I said I'm 65 years old and I am not putting up with anybody threatening me and neither should anybody else not a good look for your company.

Below is what I was interested in. like I said it could be done with brackets for securing for Highwinds and not the cheap looking 18 gauge brackets you tie rafters down with that's all I was trying to explain to him,. But he said he wasn't having it because he evidently knows everything. I read, one of the other reviews that was a one star and they hit the head on the nail. The man has anger management problems, he is a HOT HEAD! and knows nothing about customer service evidently at least unless everything's going his way. Then he tries to throw his weight around and threatening people

Very prompt, professional and friendly!! The quality of workmanship is awesome! The owner was very hands on and he communicated everything with us!! The finished projects from painting to shower renovations turned out to be everything we wanted!! Will definitely recommend this company to anyone who wants quality work at a reasonable price!!

Got this guys number from a friend. Really liked him at first. Have to say the actual paint job was good. Issue was with customer service and treatment after painting was done.
First of all, let me just say, we might have gotten him from a friend but he wasn’t doing us any favors. We didn’t get any special pricing. We paid 1800 for the two days work.
When they started painting I had to ask them to to take the things off the cage to paint underneath them. They also took down an expensive ring spotlight camera from outside of cage. They moved all of our things out of their way to do their job.
After they were done, they had damaged some of our personal property. They didn’t move our things back, and they didn’t replace the hose hooks and things they had taken down. I found the ring spotlight in two pieces off the pool cage.
I didn’t ask for any kind of refund , but I did want the owner to know we didn’t appreciate the way that was handled for future reference. The owner William Swift got angry with me and said he would never work for me again, instead of just accepting his shortcomings and apologizing. Moral to this story? The owner is a hot head who doesn’t know good customer service.
