Synergy was honest from the start. No hidden costs, nor agendas. Thomas Hood came to the house, explained everything well and walked us through "going solar". The electrician, Louis, explained what to look for with the system, told us how to figure out the SunPower app (pretty easy overall). We got a great overview of the system and it's capabilities. The installation was very professional and they did a great job, even the town building inspector was impressed! I would highly recommend Synery Smart Homes.

I was referred to this company by a friend who had solar panels installed on their home. I emailed the company and my email was returned within hours by Bessie. Within several days, I had spoken to Bessie via phone and she took the time to make sure all my questions were answered and I felt confident moving forward. Bessie was diligent, knowledgeable, pleasant and very easy to work with.

Within four months the solar panels were installed on my roof. The installer, Luis, was exceptional, and made sure I understood how the system worked and took the time to answer all of my questions.

Every step of the process was completed quickly and efficiently and I highly recommend this company.

From start to finish this was expertly and professionally done. The team went above and beyond to make the project smooth and stress free. A special shout out to the electrical team, Luis in particular, for their attention to detail and their efficiency and excellent customer service. After the panels were installed and we got all the permitting done and the system was up and running, we discovered a problem with my electrical panel. It had absolutely nothing to do with their installation, but the fact that the electrician who installed my panel chose a cheep brand with unreliable breakers. Luis came the next day and replaced all the faulty breakers for me free of charge. I can't say enough good things about this company and the great work that they did. I couldn't be happier!!!!

I thought I was going to work with an honest, hardworking solar company when I first met Jason B. He seemed competent and informed. The first frustrating issues occurred last year, after our initial discussion about timeframe. Then, suddenly Jason’s emails didn’t accept mine and his voicemail was always full. I had to continue to reach out to him for 8 months for him to even get started on my solar project.
He told me it was the power company’s fault. I had no reason to doubt him.
The installation began… on my garage roof, not my house roof. I asked the installers why? They shrugged.
It seems Jason told them that I told them, I didn’t want solar panels on the main house’s roof. I find that odd since I had the trees cut back on the south side to aid in solar availability.
What I ended up with was spending over $20,000.00 on solar panels that were only able to power a fan.
I had told Jason repeatedly I needed/wanted to be off the electrical grid. He appeared to hear me at the time.
Fast forward to now and I called him to ask why the panels he installed were not enough to power my needs. He raised his voice over the phone to blame me. He told me some person I do not know, told him I didn’t want panels on my house roof.
I may have told him, I did not want them on the house roof until I had it inspected by roofers, since I had just purchased this 100+ year old home. But I certainly wanted solar panels any and everywhere they should/could be installed.
He stated he’d get back to me with a plan to improve my solar needs two weeks ago. Needless to say he never did.
I wish I could recommend this company because I see they do good work for some customers, however, I am not one of them. Maybe because I am a single woman, who is a senior citizen I got duped into being grossly overcharged for a tiny amount of panels.
I’ve yet to decide if I should take this issue further…
But I would consider being careful if using this company before signing a contract.
Why on earth would I not want enough solar power to be able to operate my heating and cooling system of my home? Maybe that makes sense to others, but it does not to me.

Synergy Smart Homes is the best choice of all the solar companies I have contacted. I have been told that I didnt have a good site. I have tried to be over sold. I have been told a lease is better for me and I have been told a lot of falsehoods. Joe, from Synergy listened to my plans and expectations and explained all options in simple language. It was a no brainer to go with Synergy. High end panels and system without the high prices of other companies. Very Professional, clean installation and prompt responses to phone calls and emails I financed through Ct Green Bank and they sent a independent inspector after installation for payment approval who commented on the great installation and the use of the best panels on the market. I couldnt be happier and am now enjoying my electric bill stating "no payment due" instead of "payment due". I recommend Synergy Smart Homes to everybody I know and to all that stop by and inquire about the system. FIVE STARS!!!

I called many solar companies, trinity, sun run, momentum and Synergy. Sun run and momentum signed me into a contract without me knowing, very pushy and wanted to rush the project. Joe from Synergy broke down every aspect of how solar works and what would be best for my home, very down to earth and understood and most importantly listened to me. His team installed 45 panels in one day, no mess, very clean and professional. I haven't had a problem since they got installed and the amount of money I am saving by going solar with them made me wish I would have gotten solar sooner. I'm so glad I went with this local company instead of a huge "well known" solar company with only looks out for their best interest. My parents and neighbors went with synergy and are over the moon with with the top of the line products Synergy uses I highly recommend them. Going with anyone else would just be foolish!
