Where customer service goes to die! I called in to make a payment and update my billing. The woman told me she can’t help me and would have to transfer me to an automated system! I would fire every single office employee if it were up to me! In a world dying for authentic human interaction YOU PEOPLE could care less about taking care of your customers!!!! THE ONLY REASON YOU ARE STILL IN BUSINESS IS BECAUSE PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE ANOTHER OPTION!

Absolute worst power company experience ever. They lady told me her name was Tammy. I called again then next day and her name was Tessa. She is very dismissive and gave me absolute 0 help. So I had my girlfriend call who is a white woman to help and she went out of her way to help her. If she don’t wanna talk to you she will put you on hold. She even released information to a known associate whom name is not even on the bill. I called back to have her explain it to me and she put me on hold when she realized who I was. It’s just sad at the poor customer service. I have been a customer for over a year with no disconnects. To be treated this way is sad.

I've been a resident at Talquin Lodge for 7 years and its been my experience if it sprinkles the power goes out. They don't get in a hurry to repair or should I say patch it but rest assured when that bill comes due they won't waste anytime yanking your meter.

Put window tint on the windows, put new weatherstripping on the windows and doors, bought ceiling fans for every room, unplugged everything not in use, installed energy efficient thermostats & keep them on 74° “ because that’s comfortable when you’re used to heat” Ive been turning them off at night and opening windows because it’s been cool. We bought a clothesline instead of using the dryer, replaced all lights to energy efficient .. Was gone a few days to West Virginia Our electric bill was the highest this time at $475

System is crappy. We should already have power. Tallahassee already has power. Why don't we have power? We are still in the people on the list of people that still don't have power. Talquin just passed by us. That's wrong. They have to pay better attention to their customers, instead of just ignoring them. 13 days and still no power at all. We should have power already. Talquin needs to stop being stubborn get moving and very very fast. I am not very impressed with this power company at all.
Talquin needs to give us our power back and they need to drop everything and fix it immediately and now. And yes I do wish that they would get into trouble for this because it's so wrong. Like they need a deadline, like 3-4 days, that's it, and no excuses, hesitation, or exceptions.

Thanks Talquin for the power surges/spikes then outage this past Saturday 7/22/23. This one took out my securty system! that makes 2 AC board, 2 Cash registers one computer and a Security system now. Your company really has some major problems!!!!

On 5/20/21 I filed a service request with TEC for a downed tree resting on my electric service line. Within an hour or so a Lineman appeared ready to help. He immediately went to work to remove the tree's weight from the electric line. He was very personable, professional and proficient in his actions. He went beyond the call of duty to help me. I recommend he be recognized for being such a fine representative of TEC.

The reason I am still without electricity boils down to numbers. There are 4 households around me, not enough numbers to affect the outage list. I understand trying to affect more homes, that only makes sense. But when homes on Highway 12 near Greensboro, have had electricity for 2 days, and those of us living a few hundred yards behind those homes don't. And we have to not seen a utility truck for days, except for driving down the road somewhere else. It just seems better planning could be made, and finish one area beforeI moving somewhere else. Just very disheartening to be forgotten, or maybe be an afterthought. Maybe I should have picked a very crowded area to live in.
