Horrible customer service with the exception of one person named Ken.
I've had problems paying due to my husband's cancer battle and repeated hospitalizations. They took me off balance billing and my bill jumped to $1760 - yes, $1760.
They won't work with me and have shown no empathy and are tone deaf. Nevermind that my husband is also paralyzed and mostly confined to an electric hospital bed here at home.
I'm at a loss as to what to do.

I want to thank you guys for working so hard to get the power back on. Our power is not back on yet, but I see the numbers dropping fast. It is not an easy task you guys are facing. I am sure you all are working around the clock. Thank you.

Our power came back on around 4:30 pm on Sunday. Thank you guys very much.

It makes me sad to see people on here leaving bad reviews about the power being off. Teco did not create the storm. They have people working literally around the clock to restore the power. Thank you all for the hard work.

Worst electric company ever. Only reason they get away being so terrible is they are the only company that supplies electricity to the area. $800 deposit?!?! Are you kidding me? My first month power usage cost only $73. Youโ€™re telling me you need 10 month worth of power as a deposit?!? And if Iโ€™m late once you keep it. Screw yall.

I've been without power since October 8th. Which was to be expected to lose power but when everybody else in my neighborhood got their power turned on I have not and I'm still without power Oct 15. And it was told to them that I was disabled they said that I needed to go to the hospital if I had a problem .when literally every house around me has electricity except for four houses on my side of the street and two of us are medical. They also said they knew I was disabled it in the paper work. And they said that someone has reported it to them also. Rude customer service

Jeffrey Maier in the Teco Standards Department went out of his way to help me with the curb side appeal of my home and the transformer in my yard. Dealing with large corporations and companies, you always feel small and unheard, but he listened and acted on my request, as a long time Teco customer. Thank you Jeff and Teco for all you do!

The crew that came to get my power back on after Milton were incredible. Even after a week of very long days, they went the extra mile. I am grateful for their dedication and expertise.

$20 increases to our bills to โ€œrecoverโ€ from the hurricanes?! Are you kidding me? Most of us didnโ€™t have power and a giant monopoly corporation is going to pass the cost along to the victims SHAME ON YOU

The two most populated areas of your customers are in hillsborough county. You saved them for last.

Screams poorly managed that you saved those outages for last.

Take out the big areas first and then work on the smaller ones last.

Saves travel time and resources. Should be ashamed.
