On a whim on Saturday night (aka 2 AM Sunday morning) I wanted to experience a blow dry bar - to give my hair some much needed TLC since my hair has been somewhat neglected lately. Not because I am not trying to take care of it - simply because I do not think I do the right techniques to take care of it correctly due to a busy schedule.
On Sunday morning I had an appointment scheduled for 11:15 with Carly and I almost ran late due to a late wake up time - but thank goodness I did not run late and was able to get to the salon a few minutes early. The entrance to the salon is a bright colored door with some set tile on the entrance which has a neat black and white scheme to it. Walking into the salon you feel right at home. The space is open and the vibe of the salon is cozy. The decor is well thought out as when you walk in and face the couch - there are shelves that hold products that the salon sells and in the open space between the shelves is the name of the salon - so you know where you are and get a peak at the merchandise that they sell.
I felt very welcomed just upon entering the salon and got to speak with Frank for a little bit which was cool since he is one of the team executives at the salon.
My appointment was with Carly who is just a sweetheart. She went through the game plan for my hair after evaluating my big messy bun before we got started. We went with a straight hair look with a lot of volume because it is something I feel that my hair is missing when I attempt to do it on my own. We also gave my hair a boost with an extra treatment to help aid my lifeless hair with the Super-Active Booster. I ended up buying some of the products Carly used because the result she gave me has the desired volume I was looking for as well as a new shiny glow.

Ten Friends is for sure a place I will continue going to (since I purchased a membership). Cannot wait until my next visit!

Love getting my hair blown out here. Clean salon, nice decor. However, usually
my blow out lasts for a day or two. But this past time, I had my hair done by a different technician. My hair lost its beach curls within a couple of hours.

Outstanding experience. I was able to get a last minute appointment, since I was not able to wash my myself due to a medical issue.
Not only was the staff accommodating, bug they made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The experience was very pampering and my hair looks great. I would absolutely return.

As soon as you enter the space you know your experience will be something special. The decor and atmosphere are very welcoming and refreshing. The shampoo was so relaxing and far better than the regular quick shampoo you might be used to receiving elsewhere. Alex my stylist, talked to me about the look I wanted to achieve and took her time to give me a fabulous style and experience. I felt well cared for and special.

I would recommend Ten Friends as a great place to go with friends or without. Either way, you will leave with great hair and a great attitude! You'll be impressed with Ten Friends!

I loved everything about my experience at ten friends, from the moment I walked in the door! The space is amazing, so bright and modern. My stylist was so informative and did an amazing job with my "beachy waves". The products were great too. I got many compliments on my hair for days (it lasted three days before I had to do a ponytail!). I can't wait to go back, it was such a special treat!!
