We spent a small fortune here over the course of two years, only to realize that my son still had major holes in his math knowledge. Specifically, multiplication, division, and working with decimals. These were all areas that I repeatedly spoke to his tutors about.

The tutors themselves were very nice and my son felt proud of himself for earning some prizes, which is why I give this place two stars, but there should have been some kind of quantitative measure to see what he was learning/not learning. Hmmm...if only there was a way to measure a child's learning.

I wish I had found a less expensive alternative, like an independent tutor. This place was recommended by our pediatrician so I trusted them.

I am so thankful for all the support that my son has received here, from day one we were counseled on programs and options to help him. The programs offered are really tailored to his individual needs and interests, cannot say enough of all their staff, very professional and caring. It has been a very positive experience for my son and us, thank you for everything!

ERG is a wonderful resource for parents and students. They provide professional and very high quality assistance for all kinds of students facing educational challenges. Our daughter struggles with executive functioning and math. ERG has really helped her in these areas and we recommend them to any parent with a child who needs help in these areas.

We are so thrilled with the results we have seen with The ERG. Our son was diagnosed with dyslexia about a year ago and we started the cognitive training +reading program last summer. My son is now at grade level for reading (he was a few grades behind so this is a huge accomplishment for him) and we no longer see the frustrations and melt downs that once existed during school work. He loves going there and especially loves tracking his points to earn his next prize! The staff are incredibly nice and flexible. Over the last 8 months, anytime we needed to reschedule or move a session, we had no issues. I highly recommend The ERG!

I have been struggling in high school and offered me a chance to go to the academic resource group, ERG, I was offered academic counciling and SAT prep. I was greeted by very kind staff who were able to teach me more about how the SAT worked and different ways to tackle such a daunting task. In addition, they were incredibly kind and welcoming as I felt like the entire building was working towards bettering my academic career and SAT scores. I felt very motivated as I had a entire team at my back working towards bettering me. Staff members such as Syeda Irha, Matthew Stewart, and Lexi Jackson are among the tutors who helped me manage my academic career and ensure I was on the right path towards college.

Since the sixth grade, my daughter has dreamed of attending the United States Air Force Academy. Unfortunately, her first two attempts at the SAT were not providing the scores she needed to get in. I had used ERG in the past for my older daughter, so I knew that she would benefit from their services. The staff sits down with you to go over your current scores and what you hope to accomplish in their program. They then come up with a plan. My biggest concern was how my daughter would fit ERG into her busy schedule; she plays high school and club soccer, is captain of her high school robotics team, and is active in three other high school clubs. We were fortunate to get James. My daughter felt comfortable with him right away and he was so flexible with her schedule. I received an update on her progress after every session. ERG is open until late in the evening and on weekends, which was very helpful. She repeated the SAT after her sessions were completed and brought her score up by 210 points! We are very happy to report that she has been accepted into the US Air Force Academy in the fall of 2018. We want to thank everyone at ERG for their time and assistance in making my daughter's dream a reality.

Our family was an ERG customer over an 11 year period for our two sons. The first half of that time was very positive and we regularly referred others to ERG. The next couple years not as good but adequate and our referrals ended. The last couple years a complete disappointment culminating in our decision to recently end the relationship.

The quality of the tutors is not what it once was and the current Office Manager was unaware of the specifics of the ACT Program in which a son was recently enrolled and the results of the Program unsatisfactory for the cost.

Our advice is to shop around as there are other options in the Severna Park area.

I have only positive things to say about the ERG staff and programs. Our partnership with Dr. Perez started in middle school and has continued (on and off) through high school. The ERG is the one and only place that has my son, and his ability to achieve his goals, as its sole focus. I highly recommend it to any parent that wants to address core capabilities and skills that lead to falling behind in the first place, instead of just hiring someone to get their child caught up again. You won't find a more pleasant, understanding, and competent set of people to work with...
