The owner of the venue was extremely rude and ugly to me and my party. I wouldn’t recommend what so ever. She tried to make a service dog to a veteran leave the establishments to a veteran! She spoke to everyone as if they were children who were misbehaving. My bridal party was told we were being to loud this needed to be a quiete time and then she placed blame on me as she asked them to leave the room. Some of my decor had been ruined cat urine that was dropped off the night before. I had a horrible experience and cried in my wedding day and was told I could allow my wedding to be ruined if I would like. She is extremely unprofessional and RUDE! My guests were so uncomfortable and many who fought for our country were shocked at her behavior towards a veteran with a service dog. Even though this was asked ahead of time (we didn’t have to ask) she agreed it was fine. We were rushed horribly and everything came across as a task. She asked the veteran my uncle to leave her establishments and continued to remain to taunt him in front of our guests during the reception. The place is beautiful but my wedding day was ruined by this horrible person and guests were uncomfortable I ended things 2 hours earlier because of this. She complained about my guests being indoors waiting for us to finish and it was a problem. We were in the middle of pictures! She was asked to leave and remove herself from somebody else. The catering staff we chose was amazing as the photographer. It is. A beautiful place but if you want rude behavior l, no respect for veterans and elderly, and your day to be a disaster and told that as well that’s what this would be. We were accused of going in her personal space with no proof. She made sure to go out of the way to be a horrible person. When I asked her why she was being so mean and awful to me she smiled in my face. This should’ve been a special day and happiness all around. Thank goodness for family and one amazing photographer. I repeat don’t use this venue. Multiple guests who were here said this a common occurrence.

The absolute worst proprietor at a wedding venue I’ve encountered as a guest.

Another guest, retired military, with a well trained service dog for PTSD, was asked to leave (or at least the owner/ event coordinator wanted the service dog removed), because she didn’t want his animal at the venue. And she wasn’t at all cordial about it, in fact down right mean and problematic about the animal being there. She literally caused a scene in front of the guest, had the bride in tears, at one point I thought someone was going to call the police. I would not recommend The Elizabeth in Grand Bay. And it seems the reviews have been turned off, so that is explanatory....
