We stayed at The Homestead this summer and had an excellent experience. It has warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere.

The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-appointed, with rustic charm and modern amenities. The location is great, with surrounding vineyards and mountains, and it has a serene ambiance.

Overall, our stay at The Homestead was excellent, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway in Palisade. We look forward to returning in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Our room was immaculately clean, the property owners communicated with us beforehand and offered “a cozy bed” for our dog (so sweet! ?), and when we showed up there was a clean, soft bed for him and bowls with a treat for him. We were so touched! We got in late and the check in instructions were given to us early in the day, and were easy to follow (essentially just how to get into the room - no real check in necessary after hours) - which we appreciated after a long drive. The bed was very comfy with crisp, white linens and we really enjoyed sitting on the back patio and enjoying the views with the coffee we were able to make in the room. The owners are very kind and you can tell they care about their guests. Thank you for a great stay! We will absolutely be returning!

This is one of those awkward reviews that I don't really want to give because I don't want to share how wonderful this place is for fear that it won't be available to me in the future! The hosts are so wonderful, however, and the business is relatively new so I will work through my hesitation and help them out.

My husband and I have been trying out all of the lodging in Palisade, as we travel through fairly regularly. The choices vary widely, so far (for us) ranging from pretty good to truly awful.

After our visit to the Homestead, this one is now our favorite. Lovely, quiet spot, with great ambiance. The rooms are a good size, with everything that you need, and the beds are comfortable. The host could not have been nicer. The common
yard out back is great, with games and a fire pit and nice views of the bluffs. There is no restaurant on site, which might bother some, but we are fine with that. The fact that this place is away from the activity in Palisade is a plus for us. We will definitely be back and definitely recommend The Homestead!

We had a wonderful stay at The Homestead. The location is great, loved the back patio to sit relax and drink coffee or a glass of wine. And we did use the corn hole, such a blast. Our room was very nice, clean, updated with coffeemaker and we LOVED the ice maker. I can't say enough nice things about the owners, so down to earth, kind and just wanting to please their guests. We will be staying here again!!!

Can’t say enough great things about this Inn! From start to finish everything was perfect. The owner was very friendly and getting to meet their dog and cat was a huge bonus! The location is absolutely perfect with the classic picturesque views you want when you visit Palisade. There was a wonderful back area for guests with chairs, cornhole, and a fire pit! The room was very clean and felt like home. Another bonus was the fully equipped smart TV! I will definitely be staying here again!!

We had the Best stay here over the Labor Day weekend. The location is phenomal, the room was immaculately clean and had everything you could need: comfy bedding, coffee maker, dishes & cutlery, microwave, mini fridge, in-room ice maker, good toiletries, makeup removing towels, etc. Being able to bring our dog along was a huge bonus and he had a great time. The rooms open up to a cute backyard/dog run area with seating and games. The owners were really sweet and overall it was just a fantastic stay. Highly recommend!

The only thing wrong is The Homestead is listed as "2-star".|It's definitely 5 stars. Our room was fantastic. No dust. No cobwebs. Bathroom was immaculate. No mildew. No rust marks. Towels are huge and enough of them. Bath products are very nice. Beds - perfect; mattresses firm but not hard (no sagging in the middle). Bed linens are quite nice. Heating/cooling system easily self-adjusted. Real dishes, coffee cups and silverware. While we didn't use it, a most interesting countertop ice maker.|The inn (I just can't call it a motel, is so much more than that) is just out of town, so quiet and peaceful. Our private patio had a spectacular view, with an available firepit. The nightly rate is so worth all that is offered.|Owners communicated with us by text/email enough for us to know they were available as needed.|We highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Room was immaculately clean and classy! Beds were extremely comfortable. Everything was spotless and up to date. Many high-class touches such as the privacy/light-blocking window blinds, nice quality linens, ice maker in the room, coffee and tea service fully stocked, full set of dishes and microwave, delightful toiletries, and an alarm clock that didn't have bright lights disturbing our sleep. Worth the price. A hidden gem. I have visited Palisade three times and this was by far the best accommodations I have experienced! I will always choose The Homestead when I visit the Palisade area!
