When I pulled into Palmer, I drove right past the Pioneer Motel. It is unobtrusive. The Motel completely meet my needs for a short trip to Palmer for a work function. The room was spotless and I loved having a small kitchenette to keep drinks/snacks cool. The location was perfect and everything in town is completely walkable. The two things which were not perfect were the thin-ness of the walls. I could hear the gentleman in the room next store snoring as if we were in the same bed! And, the ice machine was always empty. Perhaps upgrading to a more substantial ice machine to ensure ample supply would be a consideration. The thin walls, not much to do. It was not a deal breaker tho and I will definitely stay here again when I next return.

This is a great place to stay. Very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our short stay. It was a nice place to be after all day on the road. We live in Fairbanks, so I will remember this for future trips south? We appreciate the kitchenette,comfortable bed and in room coffee.

Neat and clean. |Comfy bed.|Shower was a little short for my 6’ 2” hubby, but he was happy with the water pressure!|Great price and easy check in and out. Will definitely be back. Nearby coffee shop Brew Haha has great espresso too.|Would recommend for a longer stay as well.

This is a WONDERFUL little place! Someone has put a lot of thought and effort into to this place. So cute, updated, and clean. More like a room at a families home than a “motel”. Complimentary snacks (and homemade cookies) on check in. Nice toiletries. Grey towels and sheets. Bed was super comfy. Will for sure come back if I’m in the area again!

Fantastic pet friendly place in the Valley! I stayed here with my two dogs for a dog show at the Fairgrounds - so much easier than driving back & forth from Anchorage and reasonable priced! I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a clean and affordable place to stay in Palmer.

We stayed here following a beautiful hike and couldn’t have been happier with our room and the service. The motel is within walking distance of some great restaurants, a very shirt drive to a park, and the ability to rent bikes is very convenient if you don’t have the space or gear needed to pack the yourself. Can’t wait to come back!

Loved our stay! Comfy, cute and clean rooms! Nice kitchenette. Flexible check in. Across the street from Big Dipper ice cream shop! Definitely would recommend!

Super nice folks and very convenient. It's not a "fancy" place, but the rooms are clean, neat and comfortable. Great base camp for adventures in the Palmer area. Plus, they saved us in a pinch when we needed last minute accomodations due to the fires!!
