I was looking for breakfast options and Rookery cafe looked great on a rainy morning! The place was so cozy. I had the Eggs Benedict breakfast with a side of potatoes. It was so nicely done, very tasty and flavorful. The rain outside called for a hot cocoa topped with some marshmallows. This was one of the best I've ever had, perfectly rich, warm and creamy.

Stopped in for breakfast before starting our day and this place was great! They had a big selection of breakfast items and coffee - too many delicious options to choose from. I ordered a bbq potato hash bowl that had pulled pork and tasty bbq sauce and everyone else ordered typical breakfast items. They place was pretty crowded so it was a little tricky to find a table for the 4 of us to sit down. Luckily something came open once we ordered up at the counter but depending on what time you end up going, you might have a hard time finding a place to sit. The food comes out fairly quick so the tables are turned at a decent rate. Easily one of the best places in Juneau to grab a good breakfast!

The adobe loco moco (by recommendation) was a solid pick. Garlic fried rice, meaty burger patty, perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs, surrounded by a savory, sweet brown gravy is exactly what was needed. I absolutely demolished the meal and would come back for seconds any time. Chill atmosphere with a pretty standard coffee shop/bakery as well. Great breakfast spot.

We went here on a Tuesday morning, walked from the Goodbelt tram at 07:00. It’s an easy walk. Arrived and they were open. You have to order and then seat yourself. Place had plenty of seating and the staff was very friendly. Expected a local place to be a little snippy, but these people were great/very friendly. Had the drip black coffee and it was really good w/ berry muffin. The muffin was freshly baked, try it! Bravas potatoes was really good with great seasoning, if you don’t like spicy don’t worry it looks spicy but isn’t. Avocado toast was very good as well, might have needed some salt. Would definitely come back here, great breakfast place!

Overall, this has been my favorite café in Juneau. There is a delicious pastry section, as well as a full menu. Additionally, my latte was exquisite, and the barista was extremely friendly and had amazing energy. I will say it’s usually fairly busy in here, which is a huge reason this is my first time here. But I would say traffic moves pretty quickly, and you will get a table within your first 5 to 10 minutes. I came just for a coffee and pastry and read my book, and it was pretty loud. I think this is a hotspot because it’s right off of the cruise ships Over price is better than surrounding cafés for the product

A quirky little café in downtown Juneau.
I had a Motherclocker (16$) that was really tasty.
Would have been nice to have some wi-fi, other than that, it was nice.

Strange to have an extensive burger menu with zero vegan or vegetarian burgers. The vegetarian options were very limited, which is surprising for a cafe of this profile. Coffee was extremely high quality. I had an omelette that was pretty standard/basic. Beautiful space in an old building.
