People were nice but I had an appointment for an oil change at 12pm and I didn’t leave until 2pm. I assumed with an appointment they would have the staff to cover a quick oil change :(. They also immediately only offered synthetic without asking me what kind of oil my vehicle requires etc. which isn’t right. I just got the vehicle so wasn’t sure what it took, and told them I wanted whatever the vehicle requires and they never told me what that was. Taking advantage of people who wouldn’t know any better!

Had made an appointment in order to ensure that the oil change requested would be done in a timely manner; however it took more than a hour and a half and no they were not busy and had more empty bays than full before we hear the obvious excuses of being super busy or short staffed (again then why have appointments that can't be done?). Also I waited an additional 15 minutes at the counter to finalize the transaction while the store manager was on the phone trying to sell tires, no service until another person came in noticed, said had to wash his hands and returned to cash me out. Bottomline is it should never take more than a hour for a oil change if the business is being managed properly and with the customers in mind and their time being a priority. There is definitely a opportunity for someone to start a quick lube business in Callahan specifically specializing in expedient oil changes without sacrificing quality. Back to doing my own oil changes again.

I have a few complaints about this particular Tire Outlet. They might not all be like this one. I sent my son to them to have his tires rotated on his car and they charged him $38 just to rotate his tires. I purchased tires from them for my wife's car and it clearly states on a sign hanging from their walls and the employee informed me that if I purchased tires from them that the tire rotations with a list of other things were free for the life of the tires. On two separate occasions I've taken the car back to have the tires rotated and was quoted $21 each time. I had to point to the sign each time and the employee each time would act like he didn't realize I bought the tires from them even though they used information that was already in their system from purchasing the tires to make the appointment. This brings me to my other complaint. I called to make an appointment and was told that I did not need one just to have the tires rotated as long as I brought it in early in the day. I showed up at 9am and was turned away and told that I couldn't just show up without an appointment. There was one vehicle on the lift and the entire parking lot was empty. The only other vehicle in the parking lot was a silver mustang which another employee told me it belonged to the guy at the front counter that turned me away. I really don't see how a place like this stays in business with this kind of stuff going on. So did my son who has the exact same car as my wife get charged $38 for something that should have been $21? Do the employees make their own prices? I have bought 2 sets of tires from them now and will look elsewhere for future purchases.

Why does this company have a website where you can schedule appointments if the people in the store know it is not operational? I should have done my homework and read the reviews before scheduling my appointment but I didn’t. Long story short, DO NOT schedule your service online because when you get there, they will have no idea what you are talking about and may not even have or be able to obtain the tires you need as was the case with me. No big deal to them that I spent time and effort to arrange my schedule to get the work done believing I had an appointment. I am sure the employees are great people but this is a very disappointing experience and I will not likely be coming back.

I do not write reviews very often unless the business is amazing, I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and getting some work done on my breaks. I told Mr. Tyler up front how my vehicle was unfortunately in bad condition because I was unable to afford my car repairs previously. I told him my budget, they needed to put two new tires on the rear and he still managed to keep the repairs in budget. They kept me updated through the entire process on what work would additionally need to be done. The best experience I have ever had in a mechanic shop.

Days before my visit I scheduled an appointment online for 0930 and received a confirmation email. I arrived at my appointment in time and was told that the computer didn’t show on their computer and I would need to wait. I sat there for 2 1/2 hours before I was told that a part that was needed would be there in 1 hour. Once there it would be very fast. After the hour was up, I was told that it would be another two hours. In total, I was at Tire Outlet for 6 1/2 hours. I understand things happen, but 6 1/2 hours? When they realized there was an issue with my appointment I feel like they could have attempted to right some of the wrongs but I didn’t see the effort. When the part wasn’t there when it should have been, they should’ve dispatched someone to the parts store immediately instead of waiting on the delivery. They could’ve given some sort of discount as well. While there I heard another customer talking about how their appointment didn’t show up either. I lost the better part of a Saturday there and way more than I expected to pay.

Now, this being said, I would still go back. They have always been helpful and keep to their appointments. In the future I will certainly make sure that my appointment shows up before I arrive.

Had an appointment to install 2 new tires, first the manager tried to rip me off by adding maintanance fee for more than 50.00 and didnt inform me and it took almost two hours for 2 tires, the Manager was rude and pretty much an old creep. followed me out of the store to my vehicle running his mouth. If I could give 0 stars I would, never going back to that place again, buyer beware.

I had the BEST experience this morning coming here to have my son's oil changed etc. at first the price seemed high but afterwards I was happy with the results. They even gave me a digital record that was very new to me. The gentleman that helped with my service was Terry and he has outstanding customer service skills! I will recommend them to friends and as they seem to really care about your safety while driving. Thank you to all of you that I met this morning,
