If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

In the weeks that Toro has been working on our street and sidewalk, they have left trash in our front yard on lunch break, snapped a telephone pole in half causing a large power outage, ripped the cable line out of our house causing us to lose internet for 4 days (I need internet because I work from home), broke a sprinkler head on our yard, and lifted our sprinkler system about 4 inches out of the ground. All of this, and not a single employee of Toro bothered to leave a note or knock on the door to let us know the damages they caused.

However they did consistently forget to place no parking signs 48 hours in advance of them performing work, so they did knock on doors at 6am telling people to move their cars off the street.

They act like the run the street, very inefficient. Management is what’s even worse, not the actual guys who just want a check. I already saw they broke our sprinklers, Simi Valley is %120 in the wrong for letting these guys ruin this Summer. It should not take 4 months to finish a street, it’s because they r doing about 3-6 streets at a time running around like chickens with their heads cut off. They steal all the parking for people who live here. I want them to leave. They are costing me money, time and sleep. They’ve got me so stressed out and angry. Simi Valley shouldn’t let them do this. They have no manager supervising or helping on duty.

Terrible company. They have broken a water line not once but twice. Putting everyone's water in the neighborhood out for 45min each time early in the morning and another at evening (around 6pm) this company has been around long enough to not make a mistake like this, especially not 2x. Then on top of this they are working in a residential area and while the main construction workers who are wearing the safety vests are nice and professional there are workers in umarked trucks and just plain clothes who yell at you and get aggressive because you are trying to enter your property Multiple times this has happned. I called the number that is posted on the signs that say no parking and was told that Noe is the site foreman, and Aj is the project manager. When it apparently came my time for the un uninformed guys to get irritable with me I told them I had spoken with Aj and was told we could still get in and out of our property. They said they didn't know an aj and noe would tell me otherwise, at that point I told them I would call the cops which then they drew back and said to go. This company doesn't know local ordinances, basic sense of community, and a few other issues. Worst of all they do work at 7am to around 5...this is fine right? Now why are they moving the construction vehicles at 12am? They aren't just your basic Honda civic, its full on machinery noise and at 12am its disgustingly loud and obnoxious.

Update: the 45mins turned into what is now 2 hours. Again mind you the time currently is 1pm

Update 8/2: they cut the water line again...3 times now

Absolutely unprofessional. Don't even know how to do their job. Complain when they have to do their job. Takes forever for them to get the work done. Worst of all, they have no idea about the jobs the other professionals need to do to help them complete their work and complain the whole time while obviously not understanding what's going on.

It's actually scary these guys are allowed to break ground, yet seemingly have no idea of the ins and outs it takes, from multiple different companies, to get a job done. It's also funny they're the most clueless people, but complain the most in an unprofessional manner about things they have no idea about.

I live in Santa Paula, this company has shown extreme sloppy work ethic. The signs would be thrown on bushes overnight.
I understand you are contracted to "fix" the streets, However shouldn't you only tear some streets down at a time? Rather than continually make dusty horrible roads to drive on for such long periods of time?

They supposedly covered the holes they made on the ground ,two days later the holes they covered up started to sink, so a week later they came back to cover it up with metal to fix the sinking problem, and extended there time when they should of been done already, and all the cars are covered in dirt and dust. This is ridiculous it's a heavy traffic area. When I came to review this company I wasnt surprised it had negative reviews.

Was driving near my home this morning and one of their drivers dangerously merged into my lane without signaling - nearly colliding with my vehicle. It was reckless to say the least; there was little regard for public safety which should be the utmost priority. After the ordeal, the driver, in a state of belligerence, verbally abused me using profane language even though he was at fault. Reading a previous post, this looks like this is a recurrent item. CAL OSHA will be hearing from me!

Blocked me into my neighborhood when trying to make a right out. Not courteous at all. It's already difficult with all the road construction. Rude to block the entrance.
