Recently, I had the privilege of collaborating with TMS on the installation of an electric vehicle (EV) charger at my residence. I must express my utmost satisfaction with the overall experience. He not only provided comprehensive guidance throughout the installation process but also went above and beyond to ensure its optimal functionality. Frosty took the time to explain the intricacies of the installation process, and upon completion, he made a second visit to verify the unit’s performance. He patiently answered all my inquiries and provided me with the necessary information to ensure my comfort and confidence in utilizing the charger.

UPDATE (8/25)
I was asked by Jay at TMS to update our review so here it is. After agreeing in writing that they would pay us back for what we paid the restoration people we agreed to use, we are now working with a lawyer because they wanted us to sign the form attached below before they’ll finish paying us back to fix their mistake.

My family and I had work done last week on Thursday. We were happy with the job when they left that day and I even gave a 5 star review and signed a contract with them. Their workers were very friendly.

The next day the new pipes (pictures attached) created a monsoon all over our downstairs, water that flowed through two rooms, into the garage, and the carpet was soaked in the hall. Accidents happen and that on its own would not be a problem because the guy who made the mistake owned it and they came out that night to fix their plumbing mistake.

A water mitigation and restoration company was called that night and they promptly did what was needed to get our house ready for repair, including dehumidifying, drying, tearing down the drywall that was SOAKED through so we didn’t get mold (because they have to by state standards), and sucked up 5 gallons of water out of our carpet. On Tuesday they were done with demo and ready to come start restoration.

Why TMS gets 1 star from me is because we still don’t have walls. TMS is upset because the other guys did their job the way they’re supposed to and cost TMS money they didn’t want to spend. They tried throwing them under the bus, stating their work was “sloppy” so they had an out when the demo job was up to safe standards and done well. Now, instead of letting the other guys finish the job they started TMS wants to use “their guy” who is going on vacation next week and we’re supposed to wait until he gets back for them to do anything about their mess. Just this one man. They will not let us find another contractor. They are not interested in finding someone else to fix what they’ve screwed up.

We are extremely unhappy with how they are handling this situation and when it is over I will be cancelling my contract with them. I know based on the previous reviews they will come here and try to make it like this is a me problem or that they’re in the right but these statements have been corroborated with the restoration company and are based on the phone calls we have had over the last three days with three different people at TMS. I would be careful about using them.

I chose this company back in 2019 based on their excellent reviews, but unfortunately, my recent experience has been disappointing. They installed a mini-split system for me back then, and everything had been working well until recently. Some squirrels got into the outside unit and chewed through some wires, damaging the motherboard. A technician came out and told me that the repair was beyond his abilities, but assured me that someone else would take a look. I assumed this meant a more experienced technician, but instead, a salesman arrived and tried to sell me an entirely new system.

I initially received a quote that was outrageously high, but after explaining my situation—mid-winter, only source of heat in my home, still paying off the existing system, which is only five years old—they lowered the price to something more reasonable. I was told my mini-split couldn’t be repaired, and that parts would take 6 to 8 weeks to arrive.

I decided to get a second opinion, and within two days, the parts arrived. The system was repaired for a fraction of the cost of a new unit. There’s no reason to deceive customers in situations like this—there’s money to be made without taking advantage of those in vulnerable situations. While I'm sure the company has some great technicians and salespeople, my experience this time was less than satisfactory.

This company is great. I was having a plumbing issue and while they weren't able to directly solve the issue (needed a septic company) they had good suggestions about the plumbing of my house and gave me honest feedback with quotes and timelines so I can prepare for future work and budget. Great for a first time homeowner and overall really good experience. Will be back once the budget allows for some of the higher priced work.

I had a pleasant visit with Mike, who came out to evaluate a gas boiler heating system. He provided me with helpful suggestions on the current system, and a professional recommendation to obtain a quote for a newer system, to replace a cicrca 1983 system. He arrived on time and was very pleasant to work with.

Update: 11/13/2024: Mike arrived on time and professionally installed a new toilet of my choice. I am very pleased with the high level of service and professionalism that I have received from the technicians that have been working with me for the past several months at a multi family property that I recently purchased. Thank you Mike and TMS!

Bill K in service came out to service my natural gas boiler because I was having issues with heat properly going to the first and second floors. I called in and they got me on the schedule several hours later because Bill was working right down the street from me. He was quickly able to diagnose the problem and fix it. He was attentive when I was discussing my issue with him, very respectful, and knowledgeable on his trade. I will definitely be using TMS for any service needs for my heating system in the future. Same day service was more than I could ask for!
