I think they used to be a decent company. And they gave me a deal on my solar.
Installation installation, but I recommended him from my friend who bought over $55000 of panels and insulation. They told me he would give me some kind of kick back if I ever needed him again and I had two errors on my sunni boy inverter. And he wouldn't even call me back for over a week in the hottest months of summer. Then charged me 65$ for 5 minutes to reset it. I was having a issue of arcking rich didn't care to help me troubleshoot without saying he would have to charge me 600$ to start taking a part panels.instead of inspecting my outlets first inside. I guess when they need money he starts to gouge people. I'd beware these days with how much he over charges. He's not in it to help people

Tri State Solar And Wind Corp needs to change they're name! They have been unable and unwilling to service wind generator systems that they sold and installed. For over three years now they claim they do not have the equipment or the personal to work on wind generators. Not only that, but a licensed electrician that replaced our well pump told me they wired my electrical panel incorrectly for the solar system they installed. I do not know how they stay in business with this kind of service...

Rich with Trii State was awesome. He met and gave a thorough estimate and told me exactly what he proposed, answered every question. When he delivered and installed it was perfect, no surprises, exactly as promised, on time. He continues the great service to this day. I recommend Tri State to anyone interested in lowering their carbon footprint and never having an electric bill again.

They never explained to me how the system works or how to maintain it. It is currently not working. I called them and the manager I talked to kept telling me that it was probably not covered by the warranty. I kept trying to tell him that I do not know how to fix it myself but he won't shut up long enough to listen. I am now the proud owner of a $40,000+ system that does not work and a manager that hung up on me. I got tired of the tirade and tried to tell him repeatedly to send someone to fix it and he hung up. Ii would suggest you avoid doing business with these people. I hope to talk to the owner as the office manager is very close to useless.

Tri-State installed 41 solar panels. Great installation. That is where it stopped. The owner is useless, and will not honor any warranty. Do not hire this company.

Don't bother with them...purchased a sky stream wind generator...maker now out of business....wind generator doesn't work. They promised that they would have a tech out in 3 weeks....it's now 12 weeks and the last call they admitted they had no bucket truck or trained tech to fix it. What a waste of money, always had terrible service...stay away from them.

Poor advice. Good thing I knew what was needed. Pity on the novice. Tried to sell me equipment not compatible with my system. Do not trust them.
