Unethical thieves. $150+ per month BASE charge for residential water. Actual water usage is $5-$10 per month. How are folks expected to afford this? Water is a necessity. My mother is disabled and on a fixed income. She has to go without water multiple times a year because they shut off service very quickly once you're behind on payment. They offer no services for those who are behind or low income. Appealing to them is met with a shrug of the shoulders. UNETHICAL THIEVES.

The water they sell tastes bad and when heated for a shower it smells like algae. Nasty stuff.
I had these guys ( top quality union employees) come out to locate their main for construction purposes. I tried locating by hand digging where the marked it along several spots but nothing. The next day I brought my locator since I was a former contractor installing utilities. They were of 2-3 feet everywhere and the main was installed shallower than standard specifications. Not really a good utility operation. Water is lousy and the service is too.

The only thing good about TUD are the Ditch tenders. Went from paying $15 a month for untreated Ditch water to over $400. They keep raising their prices and it’s price gauging. They also charged me for my brother in laws bill on top of mine for over a year and never tried to remedy it.

TUD said my Fire hydrant on my property was dripping and needed to be repaired. They showed up telling me they were going to replace mine with a new one. They finished and left not leaving a new one but caping it off. I called and was informed by the receptionist " they had a different end result. " No Intergrity ! I wonder how they'd feel sending us a bill and telling TUD we have a different end result. MAKE TUOLUMNE CO. GREAT AGAIN ...RISE UP !

I have a piece of land with a 5th wheel trailer on it. DO NOT GO there but maybe one to two times per year. Cost me 3000 .00 to turn water on said new development even though water was there.. No one mentioned could turn water off if we wanted to so now being told the only way we could turn it off is if you sell your land.. Really upset by that don't think it's right.

So glad we moved to a well water property, tud bills keep going up and up, where will it stop going up It's nice to have water but jeez, I think tud is run by congress!

I was literally down at the bottom of the ditch wondering when TUD was going to come out and clean it when they showed up guys with chainsaws and weed eaters and started working on it. I was surprised and happy so I started helping too. Thanks guys

Don't waste your time trying to pay online, it doesn't work, it hasn't ever worked, and probably won't ever work, do make sure to pay them though, cause even though it doesn't work, they still expect YOU to do it the least convenient way or off you go!
