They took excellent care of a project car i purchased, I was worried about getting it moved because the person I bought it from lowered it too much, Bill used his skill (and a lot of 2x4s) to load my "new" miata effortlessly and without scraping

I then called them again to bring my motorcycle to the shop. There were no issues there either.

I will call Universal every time I need a vehicle moved until I have the ability to have a trailer

Thanks for the fantastic service. I wish Chevy would’ve told me what a fantastic time they did with their electric vehicles. Why would anybody buy a gasoline engine is beyond me. Being towed is so much fun and convenient. Thanks again highly recommend.

Avoid at All Costs! A NIGHTMARE! A CIRCUS! A REALLY BAD JOKE!
Breaking down near Daytona Beach on a Friday was bad enough, but using Universal Towing/Universal Repair made it much worse. I found them on NTTS Saturday, spoke with Valerie, and was promised a 90-minute tow and clutch replacement Monday morning. She charged me $850 for the tow and quoted $125/hr labor. But the tow didn’t arrive until 6:13 PM, and the driver tried to charge me more right away.
On Monday, after seven calls, I finally got in touch with Steve, the mechanic, who told me it wasn’t the clutch but the sleeve and master cylinder—but they didn’t have the parts. I found them myself, sent a driver 3 hours away to get it, but nobody answered when he arrived back. Next morning, we were told Steve was at a “drug meeting” and would be back soon.
At 2:30 PM, Steve arrived and suddenly said I did need a new clutch after all—but claimed they had one in stock for $800/$900. Then I found out my truck wasn’t even at their shop, and it took until Wednesday to get it there.
When they finally started, they hired a random mechanic on the spot who didn’t speak the same language they did, causing chaos over wages and chaos during the repair. They kicked my driver out after two hours, and by Thursday, Steve was MIA. Angie kept telling me it was “almost done,” but nothing happened until Friday, when my husband flew from Massachusetts and found nobody working on the truck. They blamed a broken jack, you will see a picture of the jack on this review, its a joke.
Finally, they finished the job late Friday, but the bill was $4,570.89, with the clutch magically increasing to $1,690. I expected to pay $3,343.75, but they added $1,227.14 in extra charges and refused to accept a card, despite my confirmation from day one.
Stay far away from Universal Roadside Repair/Universal Towing! They wasted four days, delayed my deliveries, and overcharged me. These people are professional scammers. Avoid them at all costs! I just pray the repair was done correctly so I can work. GOD PROVIDES! People give what they carry within them and I am truly shocked and disheartened by everything that just happened.
If you need a tow, ok, you may call them and eventually someone will show up, but should NEVER advertise to be a repair shop, because they are a bunch of amateurs that hire random mechanics if needed and they learn as they go, so the 1 day repair takes a week, but you better believe you will be charged for all the hit and miss.

After all the nightmare this shop put me through 3 months ago, I had another scare 2 months ago when the handle that switches gears was completely loose because they only used ONE bolt. And now, guess what? My entire transmission is loose, and the bell housing is broken because, once again, they did not secure the transmission back in place after replacing the clutch. This is insane! How can you be so irresponsible and careless when dealing with someone's breadwinner? I am disgusted by your lack of commitment to the work you do. But life will always pay you back for the bad you do to others.
