Kind of a weird place! No restroom available, one of the girls told me to go to Dunkin or McDonald’s when I asked earlier. I’ve read in other review responses that it’s due to shoplifting but like 👀 who’s stealing these? They say they’re a store for younger people but most of the people shopping were older ladies (no shade of course but they did say it was a young adult theme) and the clothes were also not what I was expecting at all. I haven’t seen any young adults wearing blouses like these. I’ve been here twice now to browse and I decided today to try sell some purses I wanted to offload which of course they kinda lowballed me for. She offered like $80 in store credit or $55 cash and I was going to initially take the credit because it was more but I realized when I was looking around waiting for them I saw absolutely nothing I was interested in and just took cash instead. The shoe selection is okay, the handbag selection wasn’t great, the clothes are definitely cooler when they’re size L and under. I had pretty high hopes for this place! Unfortunately it kinda gives that vibe of having some out of touch older people running it and just want to make money off of young thrifters. I probably won’t be back!

Shop is perfect for a quick 'fit find. The store always smells great, looks clean and inviting. The crew that work there are kind and helpful. Clothes and accessories are stylish, trendy, and well kept. Reasonably priced too!

I think it was about 7-8 years ago, I discovered a great consignment store, off of Thunderbird Rd and 84th Avenue. It's in the same strip mall as all my favorite places ( my gym, tanning salon, and hair salon), and so close to home too. I fell in love with this store the first time I crossed the threshold, and I have only shopped there for new pieces to add to my wardrobe, since then. The clothes are the current styles, and in fantastic condition. You will find great labels and a constant turnover of new items. I would say half my closet contains items from Uptown Cheapskate! They also buy gently used clothes, and if you want store credit instead of cash for those items, you can do that too! Go check it out, you won't be disappointed!

This is a great resale shop. My teen daughter loves coming when we're in town. Giant selection. Not as much Lulu as another store we visited but probably the best resale shop we've been to.

Out of all the clothing re sale shops I’ve had the most success selling clothes here! Unlike Platos closet (hit or miss, clothing demographic skews very young) and Buffalo Exchange (staff don’t care if you live or die) I would say they are more open to purchasing a wider range of clothing sizes and styles. I especially enjoy looking through the Free People section!!

This is the first time I have come to this location and wow! I ended up buying new Nikes, and 3 shirts, I go to the Scottsdale store primarily, and they don’t have much in the men’s section. So I was very surprised in a great way. Fellas I am talking high quality shirts, shoes, hats, jeans. Here are the shoes

If I could give zero stars, I would. I used to sell and shop using Uptown Cheapskate in Augusta, GA and always had amazing experiences. I recently moved to Arizona and was so excited to sell here. I showed up to the Uptown Cheapskate location in Peoria at 6pm on a Wednesday (was a 2 hour drive from where I live). Once I arrived, I was informed the store stops buying 2 hours prior to closing. I ended up just donating the clothes due to living so far away. The website says “buying” hours are Monday-Saturday from 10am-7pm so you can imagine my frustration at the situation. Please either update the hours on your website or get better staff, either way you’re down a customer.

Brought a bunch of stuff in to get prices, women at the front desk seemed annoyed for some reason. After reviewing my items they decided they only wanted a few which was fine but the prices they offered were terrible. I came with all of my clothes folded nicely and left with a bunch of the stuff thrown back in the basket. Do not recommend.
