Unfortunately we had a bad experience with Howard. In terms of social and professional aspects. We are very disappointed at the garden he created. He had no design. No plant list. No order, and excessive amount of thick foul-smelling yellow mulch which is way out of proportion to the plants planted. Plant-mulch ratio is 1:99. Yet, when you talked to him about what you thought of the progress of his work he would get offended and not too professional based on his conversations and text messages. Complete scam and waste of money. Broke our sprinkles. Sent unprofessional messages like calling us liars. Defamers.

Just want to share my experience with Urban Habitat. First of all Howard the owner is highly knowledgeable about the environment and native plants and he is able to create beautiful gardens that will make your property much more beautiful while creating a habitat for local species of animals and birds to enjoy. It is imperative to trust his vision because after the plants are planted they may look simple at first but they will experience great growth and believe me they will flourish into an amazing environment for you to enjoy. Urban habitat has created my garden in two of our properties and we don’t ever see ourselves going back to the regular depot plants you see every where else.

We LOVED the beautiful, low maintenance, wildlife friendly landscape that was installed at our office so much that we had Urban Habitat do an install at our home as well!

5 years later the plantings at our office have matured and held up spectacularly. The office is in an industrial area with loads of traffic. The plants and strategically placed stones create a softening effect that doubles as a much needed safety feature.

Our home garden includes a densely bioswale that works great to keep excess flood water out of our yard, slow traffic and beautify the street!

Urban Habitat is the best for modern eco-friendly tropical design!!!

Howard has worked miracles to my yard/garden. Thanks to him I have the most beautiful plants, birds and butterflies all around outside my home. He has transformed my outdoors and truthfully I am so thankful everyday. When I see my gardens I am so pleased and happy because of the natural life I see and the positive environmental impact I feel I am doing my part with my home’s green space.
