I recently had the chance to photograph an awards ceremony hosted by my friend Ivy at Urban Luxe Cafe, and I was truly impressed. The space is well-kept, modern, and ample enough for small events while still feeling cozy and welcoming.

One thing that stood out was how easy parking was, which is a huge plus when hosting events or visiting. The drinks here were also amazing – perfectly crafted and full of flavor.

Knowing this cafe is women-owned makes supporting it even more special. Whether you’re grabbing a coffee, meeting friends, or planning an intimate event, Urban Luxe Cafe is a gem worth checking out. Highly recommend!

Luxe Urban Café is a vibrant inner-city poetry and chill spot, perfect for brunches, baby/bridal showers, or any celebration. The ambiance strikes a balance between intimate and lively, making it an ideal location for creating memorable moments.

While their no-cash policy was slightly inconvenient, it worked out seamlessly. I appreciated the modern convenience of ordering directly from the QR code placed on the table, which added a streamlined, tech-savvy touch to the dining experience.

The jerk chicken quesadillas I ordered were flavorful, and the staff was accommodating in providing To-Go containers for both my food and drink, as I had a one-hour commute home. This level of consideration was appreciated.

What truly made the evening unforgettable was the talented and seasoned performers who graced the stage. The cultural richness they brought added depth and meaning to the experience, leaving a lasting impression.

Overall, while there’s room for improvement, Luxe Urban Café is a unique gem worth exploring. My overall rating: 8/10

I had an absolutely lovely time at the open mic this past Friday. A friend and I shared the food and it was a 10/10. Everyone was nice and friendly and welcome. Will definitely be coming back! 🩷

Live music, great vibes, and great food. I tried the grown up PB&J with the coffee flight. And when I say the portions are generous I only ate half with some to take home. The owner was very welcoming along with their worlds best barista made my first visit so great it won’t be my last!! They are cashless but bring cash for tipping because it is well worth it.

I walked in to try the food and accidentally came on karaoke night and had a blast. Everyone from the owner down to the cook made me feel right at home. I will definitely be back for more. The fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich was excellent along with the chai tea.

Yesterday was test kitchen day. The employees was in there please secure and safe and doing incredible things to get familiar with the equipment the menu and the environment a couple of people try to get we politely told them we was not open yet and will be opening soon. It was an incredible exciting day for myself the employee and the neighborhood after the day we feed the people in the community. What explosive positive energy to be safe assume the position to be professional and meet all health codes thank you for your patience.

If I could give this place 100 stars for food, service and atmosphere I would. This is hands down a New CHICAGO STAPLE. Every time I come here I am amazed at how professional yet laid back and welcoming this place is! The entertainment alone will leave you begging for more. If you are a local or just visiting Chicago you have to stop in. The Owner makes you feel right at home.

Laid-back vibes with a cool energy—this spot is perfect for the 20-30 crowd. I’d love to see a night tailored to the 35+ crew, but either way, the performers were on point. Stylish, clean, and inviting—a gem worth coming back to! Oh yeah, the two host were cute 🤣🤣🤣
