Delightful experience. Ted is a master historian with the driest sense of humor so if you're not up for it you won't enjoy it and if you do get it you'll have an extremely charming and fun experience. His very personable tour is around 1.5 hours give or take. Gorgeous, whimsical property inside and out. I hope it stays a tourist attraction for a long time!! (It's cash only fyi!)

This is the jewel of Streator. A unique storybook house with lovely gardens. The owner is a retired radio personality and gives tours of his own home. He knows every part of the property in and out. This is well worth the time. It looks a bit odd to call in for a tour, but believe me, you won't regret it.

What a wonderful place. The owner gives the tours and is one of the most fascinating people I've ever met. His house is very old and charming, with his life stories adding to the charm. The gardens are beautiful and much larger than I thought.

The tour person Mr. Webber did a great job in showing us the interior of this wonderful well kept mansion.

The grounds around the mansion are perfectly manicured with wonderful wonderful and beautiful flowers and flowers and Gregory.

The mansion has no electric and most of the lighting is provided by with candles

This is an amazing place to go to. Worth the price completely.

The commentary throughout the house was just amazing. The history is deep and interesting.

The gardens were beautiful for the time. I say that because it's still slightly winter ,but even for slightly winter, it was beautiful. Can't wait to go back and see it when it's full bloomed.

This tour was great. Tho Owner gives the tours himself and the English Garden is spectacular. Cost is $ 15.00 per person and worth every cent.

Beautiful gardens! I attended a wedding ceremony here. The property is just stunning and is a super beautiful and magical place to get married. Unfortunately there were no available bathrooms and the wedding party wasn't aware of that beforehand and therefore was unable to warn guests. Some folks ended up driving somewhere else to use facilities and come back. Also if you are at all sensitive to pollen or scents I really recommend allergy medication. The tons and tons of white jasmine was especially fragrant when we were there in early September.

Delightful gardens and home! We stayed overnight at the guest house, attended a library storybook hour Saturday evening and did a house tour with the entertaining and voluminous Ted Weber the next day. Definitely the best thing we experienced in Streator. Highly recommend! The seven-year-old we were with was thoroughly enchanted.
