On April 4, 2023 an ef2 tornado dropped a 9 ton red oak unto & into our home in Coal Valley, Il. The Coal Valley Fire Chief called Werner Board It Up Service & they showed up almost immediately. It took 2 days for Rick's Tree Expert to remove & extract the tree. Werner had Project Manager Scott Horton & Eugene on the scene to aid if necessary and, to cover the massive hole in our roof once the tree was removed. Their team worked quickly, efficiently and effectively to board it up. When our insurance adjuster came to the house a week later, Werner's Estimator, Adam Levine, walked thru our house with him to assess damages. Adam had already been through and taken pictures. It took 2 weeks for our insurance to determine whether to total the house or restore it. As it turned out, we were assigned a second insurance adjuster and our claim was turned over to the large loss department. Once our insurance company & Werner Restoration had agreed on costs to repair, work could begin. Werner has a professional & hard working crew. They show up, work well together and GET THE JOB DONE!!! They answered our phone calls right away or called us back quickly. We were able to text questions & concerns, and get a timely response. All the workers know their jobs and are excellent at doing them. They are dedicated & professional craftsmen. Materials used are quality. They have excellent relations with outside sources to do electrical work, plumbing, plastering, etc. Their pack-up & cleaning crews were so careful with our belongings and kept up with cleaning up after major work was done. We were pleased to move back into a very CLEAN home! We have so much to be thankful for. We KNOW we had the right people to restore our home. From first contact to completion of work, Werner Restoration Services has been outstanding. I hesitate to mention names in fear of leaving someone out. However, I would like to appreciate the work that James put in as project manager right up to completion of the job. Every person I met from Werner was a true professional. After you have something as terrible as a house fire, the thing you need most is to be surrounded by good people. THESE ARE GOOD PEOPLE!! They’re compassionate and committed and take a personal approach to get to know you and what you want/need. I was so blessed to have James P be my project manager. I seriously couldn’t have made it without him. I valued his expertise and wisdom on so many “little” decisions.
