I've been setup on auto-pay for several years. The card expired and they sent a notice to my office which we are restrcited to go to due to Covid. I had to use my office address for billing because of issues with identity theft in our area. They refused to work with me on any fees. I asked why no phone calls or even a simple text. They say the can't call customers due to so many scam calls. So of course I pay whatever is owed and asked them to update the credit card on file. They can't do that either! The staff is not trained on their website and can give no technical assistance. Btw their website is a POS and was clearly designed by someone living in their mom's basement. Google needs a negative 5 stars rating for WFEC!

Power shut off on a Thursday. I begged them for just 1 more day but they wouldn't do it. Now it's Friday and even paying today I can't get my power back on until Monday. Even with 2 kids in the home and nowhere else to go. They only care about money, don't expect them to care about you

I went to the Graceville office seeking any printed information on power pole placement. I was greeted at the front desk by a very professional secretary. She directed me to the woman sitting at the desk to her left behind the glass. The woman was in a conversation with a customer, I patiently waited. I approached when that conversation was over.
I was rudely addressed by this woman, who didn't have the decency to turn to speak to me directly. She spoke half turned away with a look on her face as if my presence offended her. To keep things short, I asked for any printed material concerning power pole placement. She claimed that there was none. She gave prices ($290,$500)but zero on printed material to validate. She claimed that the prices depended on what I wanted, I told her that I was not clear, I just needed guideline information. I asked her was everything just word of mouth, she claimed that it was, and to return when I know what I wanted.
I was never rude or out of line with this woman, she was blatantly rude and extremely offset. She was soooo rude that the other employees in the room turned and looked away.
The exchange was very uncomfortable and negative, and I expect this review to fall short on anyone's radar....on blind eyes.....TRULY SADDENING. I give 1 star for those who have to deal with her employees and customers.

Very bad service,my wife's been sick with long term COVID,I told multiple people the rep at my house and lady at window. This
Is only time they ddi not give me the days notice before cutting my power, the new associate that does that(comes to house to give notice) is rude and yelled at me a Veteran last time he was here and doesn't like his job which is dealing with poor folk.So they cut my power while wife is sick on a cold day. When I was talking to rep at office SHE KNEW OF MY WIFES CONDITION BY OUR CONVERSATION,the rep that gives notice I spoke of had relayed it to her.I guess lady I spoke to at window while paying Oct bill on 11-10 didnt.Either there is a day's notice or not the previous rep (he was hit working on lines after Micheal God rest his soul) I will leave his name out of this rating out of respect for his being one of the nicest fellows I knew.He would have never let this happen and we kind of had a thing going when he would come out we would stand around and talk for half hour or so,he even stoped by on some of the months I was caught up on bill just to talk. The new rep is rude disrespects customers and dislikes his job and DIDNT GIVE ME A NOTICE BEFORE CUTTING POWER.It kinda sounded like they did this to teach me a lesson. I am one of those if there was 0 stars. The man who turned power back on was quick nice and professional.

Crooks. Ive paid my crooked overcharged bill in full every month for 5 years, my father paid his in full every month for 35 years at the same address before he died. My bill was late when the mail got forwarded to a new mailing address and now they want a reconnect fee and an upgraded deposit fee? An upgraded deposit fee? And the website billing info wasn't accurate or it would have been paid online on time. And instead of getting me help the rude reply hung up on me.

Obviously one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. Nine days after Hurricane Michael and only 16% of customers have been restored! Yet 100% of Gulf Power customers have electricity. This is a good reason to leave this County and head for civilization

I would like to give a huge thank you to linemen Wesley and David! We had a cotton picker tear down our main power line from the transformer and they came out right away fixed what they thought was the issue.. it didn't fix it so I called again and they immediately came back and looked everything over and worked on the lines again and didn't leave until we tested the main breaker in our house! We couldn't ask for better service👏
