Westwood Solar installed a solar pool heater at my residence and despite it being just a few weeks, everything has surpassed my expectations. They were extremely quick to respond to any queries I had throughout from the initial quote to the final installation. Westwood Solar promptly took care of all the necessary paperwork for permits once I signed with them. I was notified of the day they would be coming for the installation. Calvin, Robert, and Wyatt arrived promptly, worked well into the late afternoon, and provided a detailed explanation on how to operate my new solar heating system. On just the first day after the install, my pool's temperature increased by 4-5 degrees and has been efficiently maintaining the temperature I set. I had previously been told by other companies that my roof space was insufficient for a solar heater due to the angles needed to fit the flat panels. They thought a solar heater wouldn't be effective, thus making it pointless in their view. I'm glad I sought the opinion of Westwood Solar. My pool temperature has risen from a cool 74-76 degrees to a steady 84-88 degrees without needing a cover overnight. It's definitely a worthwhile investment to heat my pool rather than making monthly payments to the power company.

I had a solar pool heater installed on my roof a decade ago and recently had to seek out solar specialists due to a roof leak that required repair. The solar pool heater was situated on the area of the roof that needed fixing, so it had to be temporarily removed for the underlayment to be redone by the roofers. Westwood Solar was found through positive reviews and a prompt quote was provided for the job. I received a more costly quote elsewhere, and one company even turned down the job due to the distance from their office. However, Westwood Solar offered a fair assessment. Calvin and Wyatt managed to plan out the project quickly and efficiently. Robert and his team arrived punctually, dismantled the solar pool heater on the second floor, and neatly arranged the panels and all the components, clearing the way for the roofers to start the next day. A week later, once the roofers were done, Robert and his team returned to reinstall the equipment, adjusted my pool filter and timers, and tidied up the area, leaving no trace of their presence. It was a fantastic experience. They were reliable, didn't inflate the prices (they reused all the parts, which were still in good condition), and even checked the equipment for leaks before leaving. They did a superb job! I would definitely reach out to them again for any future maintenance or repair needs.
