Just bought some new Nordica Rear Entry boots from Williams. Great service from Chad. My wife and i are 50 year members of the National Ski Patrol, and spend two or three weeks out West each year, plus about 15 days patrolling in Wisconsin. So are equipment gets plenty of use. Chad was terrific, taking time to present several brands to choose from, letting me get comfortable in each. I took a week between visits to check out reviews and then came back to buy them. Williams set them up for my skis & bindings and now we're all set. We take our skis there each year for tune ups and have bought all kinds of equipment over many years. Friendly and knowledge. We highly recommend them.

All in all, go somewhere else. You can find the same thing elsewhere for less money, better service, and with less hassle.

Overall, I’m very disappointed with my latest experience. Service is poor and the gentlemen at the service desk, ie the guy selling the skis, is quite rude and condescending.

It appears to me that they are geared towards inexperienced skiers, focusing heavily on rentals (rather than sales), and overcharging for things (many things that are unnecessary - but someone inexperienced wouldn’t know that).

We came in to buy new equipment for the entire family and got no service. We ended up buying our equipment somewhere else. We did end up buying one pair of ski’s, several days later, to then be charged $45 for ongoing maintenance with the ski - including mounting the bindings we just bought. This charge was required and not disclosed until after I had paid for the skis. Then it took 4 weeks to mount the bindings.

To pay for the bindings to be mounted, you have to pay via a portal that they have developed, which doesn’t work - requiring you to enter your information multiple times. There is no way for you to pay for the mounting without doing this, and they won’t give you your skis (which you have already paid for) without doing this.

I will go elsewhere in the future.

This place is really great. My daughter signed up for skiing and needed everything. They had people help us all along the way so she could get the equipment she needed. Can’t comment on price because I don’t know anything about what it should cost vs what it did cost. But the whole experience was easy and the place is nice inside.

I would second some of reviews below where whenever I come to the store all associates are very busy, doing something and almost always you can just roam around and leave without any attention. I understand that the store is located in an upscale neighborhood where everyone is busy and important but I'll take my business somewhere, there are other stores around the area which are more customer-friendly.

We bought lawn furniture from them 25 years ago and it was time for a update. They have a huge selection and they answered all of our questions and were not pushy at all.

We look forward to another 25 years with this new set.

My husband just retired and is going on a ski trip next month. He wanted a ski coat and pants and ended up with a few more items at Williams. We had the best service and was helped by Katrina who sure knew her stuff. What a pleasure to be taken care of by someone who truly knows what she is doing. It was a great experience and we will be back. Katrina is so nice, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Needed ski clothes - it had a been a while. Could not have been more pleased - my sales lady, Karen, did a great job! She really knew her stuff and was very helpful and efficient.
