they have just about every kind of grocery item you need or want... there's a bakery, a meat shop, wine, beer, vegetables organic and not, plenty of parking, bring your own bags (or buy at checkout), deli sandwiches already made, take home meals, try their fresh pizza dough !!, and the sauce...seasonal gift items, great sales on last holiday items, bulk: pasta, nuts, dog food, candy, seasonings... it's all there. Cashier's are always nice... and there IS self checkout if you are in a hurry.. and you WILL have to wait to checkout, but who cares take that time to ponder all you've seen and what you want next time. CASH or DEBIT..
NO CREDIT CARDS.

Look, is this the finest shopping experience? For DIY find it yourself cart it out, get it done, fresh food on the cheap? Yep. The finest. And the cheapest. Very cheap. Sometimes the lunch meat is iridescent levels of cheap but you can decide to get meat elsewhere. The butter and veggies and cereal are top quality and lowest prices in town. Or out of town, I drive almost an hour to get here once a month, it’s that good of prices.

I work graveyards so I'm limited where I can do my shopping at night. Since I usually fill my cart on shipping trips. and most others don't. If someone gets in line behind me holding only a couple of items I tell them to go in front of me. The cashier called over for another cashier and she told me to get it in his line. I told her I wanted the gentleman behind me to go first, as I had already told him too. She developed quite the attitude over it, so much so that the man told me to go ahead. While I was packing my groceries I could hear her talking to other people and she was just downright rude!! Can't believe she's still employed.
Store wise it wasn't too bad. Their layout is different than most other stores. Cleanliness and stocked items were about equal to other stores

I love this store. It's always a little too busy and there are few checkout lanes BUT, the employees are always sweet and do their absolute best with people who, for some reason, act like it's their first time in a grocery store. Bravo/brava, it's enough to make this grumpy shopper smile at the end of my trip.

The prices are good but the experience is riddled with a rude demeanor from the cashiers. Over a year of going here I've been told to wait 20 minutes for a customer to pay while a second belt lane is open, smugly laughed at multiple times for accidentally swiping my credit card instead of my debit, and generally been treated dismissively by many of the cashiers.

Stop taking the bad days the company gives you out on us customers. We don't want to be here any more than you.

WinCo prices are the best!
We go out of our way to grocery shop here!
(Although we are fans of Trader Joes and Fred Meyer, the prices at WinCo are better)

The store takes some time to navigate, but a few trips in and it's not too hard to find what you need.
We especially love the organic produce, the huge bulk foods section, and great selection of vegan and dairy-free options.

Overall it's a great economic option for high quality food!

Service is always super friendly. Really low prices on soda 12 packs. Fred Meyer thinks people like to pay $10 or $12 for a 12 pack of Coke or Pepsi products when Winco beats them daily with their regular price of $5- $7 for the same thing.
