Attempted to pay my bill just before the hurricane. We lost power, cellular, and internet for days. Due to this I had to buy emergency supplies. Withalacoochee finally charged my account 5 days later and by then it was a few dollars short of the bill total. They then immediately charged me a $30 return check fee, and then sent someone out to inform me that I had days to make a payment for service disconnect, and charged another $25 “courtesy fee”, a total of more than $50 in fees. I called to try to make my payment and waited for over an hour in the queue. Finally got someone and requested a supervisor. They would not remove the return check fee, despite explaining the extenuating circumstances of the hurricane. They also would not remove the “courtesy fee” until I made two payments. Gotta love the monopolies these utility companies have on us consumers.

Rural customer. Literally ANY time it rains, you can count on the lights going out. Like, any time, any amount.

Capital credits nets me maybe 15 bucks a year. Why don't y'all spend the exorbitant amount of money you charge us to upgrade your existing infrastructure?

Too busy getting that sweet, sweet, new sub developer money, I guess.

Definitely a contributing factor to my upcoming relocation.

Withlacoochee service is always restored as quickly as can be expected. Even after MILTON outed Cypress Estates (25010) they responded as soon as the weather was safe. I salute everyone of their employees. THANK YOU for allowing me to be a member of such a great CO-OP.

Disgusting and poor on my adjectives for the customer service. They never respond to emails. Never call you back. I’m trying to remove my name from an account to put a tenant name on there two months no success. This is ridiculous.

This company is trying to take all of everyone money. They now trying to get me to pay an extra deposit after I called to get an extension. I don't know who is the one running this company but it's dead wrong for you guys to try to get more money out of your customers when things already tight. I should not get penalized just for asking for a extension.

We are 3 months in and today our power went out. I went online to make sure I paid my bill... lol
Which I knew I did, but wanted toake sure.
As I was on the app, you are able to report outages by the click of a button. Not even 2 minutes later a customer service rep called me and I was seriously impressed with the follow up.
Those saying this is the worst electric company... hahahaaha... Try Duke Energy. Them A-holes suck.

If there was another electric company to use I would use it. My autopay was setup for the 5th, my bill was due on the 16th. The autopay did not go thru on the 5th, so this company charged me a late fee disconnect fee and placed a tag on my door that they would disconnect my service due to nonpayment on the 12th. I called on the 12th and asked why since my payment due date is the 16th and payment is not past due. They could explain this glitch and claim the auto payment not going thru caused the issue and even though I was not late they refused to reverse the late payment. Also when power goes out, this company does not notify their customers. They are there to collect money, no more no less.
