During Hurricane Milton, a tree fell on my power line bringing down the line and damaging the weather head, pole, and light on the pole. When they came to my neighborhood to restore power, they refused to restore my power until I hired and paid an electrician to fix THEIR equipment, which was costly. But what choice did I have? I needed power back. Once repaired, they came back to restore my power, but neglected to reconnect the light. When dark came that night, I realized the light wasn't working still. I called the next day to put a work order in. Now, a month later, they still haven't come out to fix it. I called to inquire about it. After waiting on hold to speak with a representative for well over 30 minutes, which is the norm any time I have to call them, I was not offered a time frame that it would be reconnected. I asked for a proration of the light charge on my bill until they fix it. They refused to prorate the charge, stating, " they don't do that." I informed them I don't pay for services I'm not receiving and would prorate the charge myself when the bill comes and they can remove the light from my bill, as I will put up my own light. 3 days later, a WREC truck pulled up in my driveway. The guy stated he was here to disconnect my light. They can show up in 3 days, on a Saturday no less, to disconnect the light ( which was already disconnected by the tree a month before ) when they won't be getting paid for it any longer, but couldn't fix it in a months time while still charging me for it. They have the worst customer service of any electric company I've ever dealt with!

If I could give this company zero stars I would. No door knock, no door bell ring, nothing. Just a note saying, "Call us when your breaker is off." I don't know who is running company, but they need to seriously re-evaluate how they treat their customers. If I pay for my electric to come back on before hours of closing, I expect it to be turned back on before hours of closing. All the other reviews of one star services are valid. I honestly think this company needs a whole new revamp. Make auto pay an option for the services and make the website easier to navigate. While the customer may not always be right, we do deserve respect, as do the employees. I'm surprised this company is still around after all the horrible reviews they have gotten over the last few months alone.

Just left Pasco County withlacoochie Electric in San Antonio Florida, and can’t say enough about Miss Jackie Boettcher and Miss Christie Hopp. I can’t say enough about these two incredible helpful women. They not only guided me through the process of getting my electric turned on, but we’re very professional and courteous. Thank you ladies and happy new year, Julian ( Orthopedic surgeon) and Stephen 😊

I have never in my life had any issue with a utility payment or issue with paying my bills... This "cult" of a company accepted my payment electronically, then claimed it was a returned check.. I had no idea they did that, until I received a notice my payment was late. When I called to ask how they pulled my payment out of my account, then days later, returned it, they blamed my bank, then charged me a $30 late fee. My bank said they never returned it. But, what bothered me was how I treated and talked to... $30 isn't going make or break me, but your business and service are bad... ready for the cherry on top... I got a letter telling me that they are now going to charge me a $300 deposit on my next payment because my last payment was "so late" that it went to collections.. Complete money hungry cult whack jobs working for WREC... my payment history was damn near perfect, but damn, is it going that bad for you, WREC, and your goons that you have to put your foot right on the throats of the people living check to check just to pay bills... and it is not like we can do anything about it... keep showing your main interest and true colors to your "members"🗑

I don’t see why there is so much bad rates
People get so upset at the operator and give the company bad views, The worker’s in the Field doing all the hard work and supporting of the customer in there needs to keep our power going and yall give them bad views, Remember the workers are the ones that suffers because our bad views, They are like firefighters they have to be in the clock at all times in times of emergency, One thing I have to say every time this guys come to the property they make sure the problem is taken care of remember they don’t control the phone operators, They just do what they are told, I’m happy with my service today @ CHANCEY RD ZEPHYRHILLS, 10 stars for the guy, And I hope y’all Relate the message to them,

I've been with this electric company for over a year, with zero late payments and zero issues. I overlooked my bill before leaving the country for medical reasons. I asked the company if they could please work with me in helping waive the late fee, and two trip fees. The trip fees I never knew existed, because they haven't been posted on the new bill yet. The new bill has not been generated. They refused and said, "charges still stand." Thanks anyway!

I wish I could leave 0 stars. This terrible company is what you get when there is no healthy competition for service. Despicable business practices and no regard for paying clients. Would fire them in a heartbeat
