Xando Energy Roofing and Xando Energy Solar. Now, we have two different aspects of Xando Energy but all under the same keeper. I was going to put two Stars but, I put 2 stars for the hard work Rick and his guys put into the Roof. Two Stars for the Solar Installers who put the Solar panels back up.
There were delays, and the completion date took much longer than expected. The communication went silent for about a week, once the final payment was made. This was Alarming and Disappointing. The office staff recovered the relationship that was now diminishing because we are still customers of Xando Energy. When our previous Salesman Bismark worked in this region, he would not have allowed this to happen. He would have message the customer first to advise them that there was a problem. I needed a form completed and it took several messages for over a week unanswered, calls unanswered, emails unanswered. I finally called the office several times to get some answers. I even asked if the Project Manager still works for them At no time was I given an apology.

They were disingenuous about getting money back from the government when we filed for the energy credit on taxes. We got zero back and only a partial credit on taxes. Also, financed us through SunLight Financial, which is owned by a conglomerate in the NE US and have no customer service!!! They put a lien on my two lots for the solar panels, but only one lot is developed. Now I can't get any cooperation to release lien on my undeveloped lot so I can put a new house on it. Horrible company!!! They will not return calls or emails. Avoid them like the plague!!!

Post hurricane update 10/15/22

Despite my area going through hurricane Ian as a category 4 every single one of the panels remained on our roof. They are still producing power. We got our power back last week on the 7th. I logged on to fpl today and was shocked to see that yesterday they produced so much power that they covered everything we had used day and night. They over produced to the point that fpl owed US for that day. Mind you we were quoted a 70 percent offset and we did not opt for back up batteries. The over production was a pleasant surprise. It may have something to do with all of those branches Ian knocked off of our poor Java plum tree. As I close I'd like to thank the Sun for providing so much raw power that we are literally allowed to exist let alone chop my electric bill to less than half. Of course I'd like to thank the great people of Xando for providing such good quality work. We rode out this hurricane and at one point I was sure every one of those panels would have been blown off, along with the roof. To see them not only still there but over producing is very impressive.

DO NOT TRUST THEM. They catched me with a lot of promises. In several meeting we told them we would like to wait for solar install because in the next 5 years we would like to reroof. They offered a Solar Removal and Re-Install Warranty and got the job. This was in Dec. 2021. Now as we ask them for Reroofing in March 2024 we got an estimate we would accept. Have not heard anything for 3 month. After that we got a new Estimate plus $7.500 for taking off and re-install the panels. They cheated us. I have heard they let go all of their staff except 2 people They are not going to be able to perform any work.

Out of business! Been trying to contact them about my roof leaking that they replaced a little over a year ago which I dropped $30,000 on (price gouged) not to mention the solar system I got from them paying close to $50,000 and now needing it repaired after hurricane Milton, took a drive over to their location in Fort Myers and come to find out theyโ€™ve closed their business! I guess there goes my warranty on my roof and any work that needs to be done on the solar system!

If I could I would put negative stars !!! One of the worst nightmares in my life. It doesnโ€™t work, costing me even more money every month and they put a hole in my roof while installing and I now have black mold growing in my ceiling from that hole. They NEVER answer ANY messages and both numbers now are not set up to receive calls. I have been trying to call, leave messages everything now for over six months and absolutely nothing!!! I think there needs to be a class action lawsuit against them!!! I will now be paying almost $60,000 for the next 30 years and receiving ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN RETURN. and if I stop paying I will be the one who suffers!!!

I highly recommend Xando Energy due to their focus on customers needs, great service, and exceptional knowledge (and patience for my asking a million questions). They designed and installed a system that met my requirements.

Having considered solar for many years, we finally decided to purchase a system due to the solar credits, cost effectiveness, and recent advances in technology. Our Xando rep, Zac, was extremely knowledgable and endured my endless questioning - in person, on the phone, emails and texts. He was clearly focused on helping us meet our requirements and wanted to be sure I was satisfied with the design.

The installation of our 11.7Kw system with battery backup was completed professionally and on schedule by Kyle and his team.

When our neighbors power goes out or fluctuates...our home stays powered! With the app, we can see the live and historical power generation, overall use, and battery status. Its fun to watch us selling back to the grid.

As far as after-sale service...Follow-up questions have been answered quickly and thoroughly. They even provided a custom user manual specific to my custom system installed which has been very helpful.

I highly recommend Xando Energy for your solar needs.

We actually worked twice with Xando Energy. After our initial installation we realized we needed an additional 5 panels to our system. First installation took place over a year ago. Trevor was our project manager for our installation. We communicated many times during that process. Being that most of us don't have the Knowledge about solar energy before the installation like we have after the installation Trevor was good to have along the way. So Trevor was the one I contacted when we decided to add more panels and again Trevor helped us through this process. Heโ€™s very knowledgeable and kind of a nuts in bolt kind of guy. Very comfortable to work with.
