You know what’s a great idea? Having your loud and obnoxious company trucks running outside where people live in the middle of a hot summer night and doing a job at midnight and continuing to work till 5 in the morning making it so that the people who live where you are doing your obnoxious work have a sleepless and restless night. That job couldn’t have been done in the morning. You’re brilliant xcel energy!

Monte vista without power yet again 3/24/24. Been out for over 10 hrs and no explanation. Food is spoiling, people without medical devices that they rely on, just a bad situation for the valley this morning. Get it straight and figure this mess out. We already have a poor community, we can’t go and pitch everything we just bought yesterday and the day before !

Super expensive, lack of customer services. Make it very difficult to call and pay the bill. 3 different transfers only to be hung up on.
Maybe one day this world won't be so greedy. But doubtful. Xcel is out here just robbing people. Along side all the other service providers.

It is understandable when unknown events happen and causes power outages and are give a rough estimated time that the problem could be resolved. The part that is lacking is the care for their customers. I have had a lot of power outages and never any account adjustments . I usually pay my bill early or have an existing credit on my account. Today my power has been off for approximately 7 hours and has a new eta of 3 more hours. I was originally told our outage would be back on around 130 which of been totaling to 2 1/2 hours which I was ok with even if it push 4 hours I should be fine because I had meat in refrigerator that could survive till then. Well unfortunately I do work in order to survive which means I have to pay for my food out of my own pocket. I would have made arrangements to save the meat that was already unthawd if given the correct eta. I know that we are all human and make mistakes or the unexpected happens time to time. When is excel going to take care of thire customers? Even if it's a simple credit that doesn't cover full amount of loss it's the effort that would make a difference. Everything these days runs off electricity there is no way with 11 hours of outages that something would not be affected. I am sure that u teach your customer service reps to go over time limits of items that everyone knows the common sense on but when there is 11hours the company needs to have some kind of respect for thire customers.

Horrible service and customers are not allowed to talk to any CEO. I have had an issue with them over my cat stuck up their pole. Telling me to call the cops or animal control which is funny cause they can't get near them either. If a dog was stuck down a well people would dig for days. Cat stuck on a pole, people couldn't care less. Great company for ignoring their customers but demanding their money

What is an inconvenience for most is life threatening to my 100 year old mother on oxygen. To be told its a "fuse" that takes 14 hours to replace is ridiculous. Put some of the money being charged for service into replacing old parts!

Go up
