Hindsight is 20/20. Wow, when we started this solar journey in the early part of spring 2024, I would NEVER image I would be in October and still not have my system operating correctly. Sunergy was fantastic at first, but I should have pulled my contract when I started having issues. The issues you ask, please continue to see what we have experienced during this almost six month journey.

1st- Salesman was great, energetic, and got the sale (kudos to Ben). As part of the "package" we received a module for our AC unit to help it run cleaner and more efficient. The AC company came out and "installed" the device. We overheard the AC technician on a call asking which wires to cut.. should have been our first clue. Well, it was warming in the summer, and obviously our AC is running here in Florida, close to full time. I happened to walk downstairs and noticed that water was dripping through my light fixture and our AC unit was not running. I quickly went upstairs, and noticed our drip pan was completely overflowing. Called my AC company who installed the unit 5 years ago - they came out - only to find that the service technician had cut our drip pan sensor, so our system did not know to shut its self off.

We had to replace the light fixture, pay for service calls on our AC, paint the ceiling due to the staining, and pay proserv to come out and ensure we did not have mold growing.

2nd - FINALLY the panels were installed in late summer. Only for two weeks later to our house almost burning down, as the technicians they use to install the panels are not electricians and decided to move around our breakers and shorted them out (see pictures). Our house had to have power turned off for two (while we stayed in a hotel) to have their master electrician replace our breaker panel and all breakers (see the pictures).

3rd - Now here we are to today. System is finally "operational". I see in the app that I am producing like crazy (thanks Florida sun) - however I am not showing consumption.. Am I just generating power and not reaping the benefits? I don't know. I have called, texted, and emailed Sunergy and I am told it is the app (even though they do not show consumption on their end) when I finally got someone on the phone. They hung up once they said not their problem. I have tried on now four occurrences to connect to the enphase chat to tell them that Sunergy said it is their issue. Finally the app company was able to fix us since Sunergy was refusing to help.

Terrible customer service, they sale and that is it!

Sunenergy did a wonderful job setting up my home for solar. Consistent communication from Parker and the team. The installation was seamless. From start to finish I was informed of each step of the process. Within 2 months I signed the contract, got a site review, had a county inspection, installation, and hooked up to my electric provider. I highly recommend them for all your solar needs.

My experience with Sunergy Solar has been nothing short of excellent. From putting solar panels on my roof to connecting them with the new batteries hung on my house, everything was done in a very knowledgeable, and professional manner. All the workers involved with my project were helpful, answering any questions I had, and in the end, delivering to me just what I wanted, a home powered by solar energy.

Luis Garcia was the technician which came to install the replacement on 1/13/25. Luis explained what he was scheduled to do and he also put our WiFi information in the master panel to assure communication and updates between your office and the panels were in sync. Once done he explained and showed me that all 28 panels are working correctly. Thank you

So far it’s been a horrible experience. Since date of installation, I reported leaks on 5 separate occasions. It’s to the point now the integrity of the roof is more than likely compromised and that will probably be the next step. The employees have been great to work with like LaCharles Winstead. However, in the end I just wanted Solar Panels without my roof and interior ceilings of my house being damaged. If I could go back and make the decision again with what I know now and what I’m experiencing, I would not install Solar Panels. The amount of lost time from work having to be here when they are here, or getting the next crews scheduled to fix another leak has been more than frustrating.

Steve was great from start to finish. He was prompt (early actually), friendly, and worked very quickly. He fixed the issue from the original installers, and also reseated my breaker box panel correctly that the installers put back incorrectly. Very much appreciated his help and service!!
